Up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down. Sigyn thought to herself as she tossed the rock she had found. She was bored out of her mind as she had nothing to do. Sigyn was laying down in tree in her cave with Fenrir lying in the roots. After what had happened a month ago with Lorelei, Sigyn had become the talk of the realms.

People came from all parts of the Yggdrasil to and catch a glimpse of the warrior. Asking endless questions and praising her for her good deeds. Sigyn was proud of herself for what she had done, but she still felt as though it wasn't right.

She found it hard to believe that she had thrown her sister back into Helheim. This time, they kept her chained up in a dark cave where no one could find her. Every night Sigyn would have a recurring dream of that dreadful day and a few twists.

She was back in the black abyss but this time, there was no way out. She saw her mother screaming in pain. Blood seeping through her nose and ears. Then she saw Lorelei cackling like a maniac. Black liquid wrapped around Sigyn's body. She couldn't move, she couldn't breathe. Then she saw nothing but blood. Asgard being ripped to the ground. And in the middle of it all-

"Sigyn!", she shook her thoughts away and came back down into reality, "Sigyn darling are you up there!". She peered down to see her father at the edge of the tree.

"Dad! How did you find me?"

"Fenrir came home and lead me here," Sigyn glanced at her friend who was now relaxing on the water playing with baby nøkks, "I know what happened as scarred you deeply Sigyn, but you can't keep hiding because of your past."

She thought for a moment. Sigyn hated it when he was right and deep down she knew that she had to come out someday.

"You did the right thing Sig"

"I know! But you didn't have to fight her, you didn't throw her to the dark regions of Niflheim. I did father, I did. You can't expect me to easily walk off something like this!" she didn't mean to raise her voice, but she couldn't keep al these emotions bottled up.

A single tear shed from her eyes before she said, "Just go dad, please." She couldn't talk anymore and curled into a ball in the tree and sobbed.

"Okay Sig," her father calmly said, "just be back in time for dinner." It pained him to see his daughter in such a state. He too grieved the loss of his daughter all those years back. But anger covered that feeling. He walked out of the cave and climbed on his horse.

Sigyn's hair slowly turned blue on the ends. Fenrir looked up from his spot and saw it. He stood up and went to Sigyn. He knew that whenever her hair changed colour it meant to was feeling a strong emotion. He stood up on his hind legs and let out a small whimper to show that he was there.

She looked up from her spot to see her friend. She stroked his nose and climbed down the tree to give him a hug.

Iwaldi's POV:

I had never seen my daughter in such a state. What happened with Lorelei tore us all but effected Sigyn the most. I couldn't help her in any way, and this pained me. Sigyn was always quiet when it came to her feelings, so it was even harder for me.

I rode my horse Kriger all the way to the palace to attend a council meeting. When entered the room I saw the AllFather sitting at the head of the table and the AllMother to his right. Prince Thor was at his left and his brother seated next to his mother.

Lady Sif sat next to Thor and the Warriors three Next to her. The remaining seats were filled with the other council members. The only left was one next to Prince Loki. I stood behind my seat as Odin began the meeting.

"Good Morn my good friends, please have a seat." As we all sat servants came into the room with goblets of mead and platters of cheese and fruit. I took a goblet of Kvasir's mead as Odin spoke again, "We must be pleased with our efforts as Asgard is once again prospering from the terrors of Lorelei."

I flinched as he said her name. The people had still been traumatized of what had happen and some buildings had needed o be rebuild due to the chaos. It had been our mission to help those families who were heavily affected.

"People are slowly going back to their everyday lives, so I believe a toast is in order," everyone raised their goblets as he said, "To Asgard!"

"To Asgard!", they all cheered. I took a single sip of my mead and left the room. The only thing on my mind was Sigyn and I did not feel in the mood to celebrate anything.

As I walked through the corridors trying to find my way to the training grounds I heard footsteps behind me.

"And what do I owe this pleasure AllFather," I said turning around.

"What is on your mind old friend?"

"Nothing important AllFather?"

"You cannot lie to me Iwaldi, we have been friends for centuries,"

"'sigh', I know Odin, it just pains me not knowing how to fix it on my own,"

"It is alright to ask for help my friend, you should know that better than anyone,"

"It's Sigyn, my king,"

"Ah, I see, and how's the young maiden doing since the incident?"

"I wish I could say she is okay,"

"Go on,"

"She stays isolated from everyone, she doesn't eat and doesn't come back home that often. She never speaks and all she does is think. I tried telling her to come out of it, but she was too broken to do so. What happened with Lorelei affected Sigyn more than any of us. And I can't help her in any way,"

"Things like these never go away Iwaldi, the only thing we can do is try keep our minds of it,"

"Yes but how can she do that?"

"Sigyn is a smart, brave and powerful young girl but she has many things to learn. Go home Iwaldi I will do the best I can to help,"

"Thank you gammel venn."

"I will always be here venn."
