>{Forest}<

The girl sat silently.
Why would she do that?
Everyone looked at her funny anyways so why did they care,
"FINIS! DASCAR WANTS YOU!" Laughter scattered around the camp, "You better get your horse ready. He wants you there by tomorrow, 12 o'clock sharp." The small girl couldn't think of anything to say, her only thoughts were to foggy to comprehend as sentences, so she could only bring herself to nod, stumbling off to fetch her stuff, the sun already dragging her to the floor in pain, the laughter and talking, the breathing and clapping, why did the whole camp hate her?

It was a long trek, the silence slowly murdering the small girl. To be completely fair, it was never an unusual occurrence to be summoned to the main base, but whenever she was, she was normally with her brother,
So where was he?
The question tore at the corners of the brunettes mind,
Why…
Why…
Why?

-present day-
<First Person>

Shaking awoke me, the breeze confused me, the sway of the boat scared me, the hands holding me angered me, my eyes widened,

'Why are my senses heightened to an extreme? That only happens when I've lost control..'

"FOREST! Wake the fuck up! You're losing control!" I turned to the boy sitting next to me, his blood red eyes causing me to realise who he was, a slap immediately received around his face,
"Don't you dare touch me Nai." The skeletal chief outwardly sighing through his nose before chuckling lowly, I stumbled from the soft, fur bed, doubling over in agony as I fell backwards onto a soft surface, a throbbing sensation erupting in my back and neck, rolling over onto my front as my breathing became heavy and staggered, a pained whimper leaving my throat,  "What…  did I do?" I looked up at Nainx, his countenance as dull as normal,
"Take a guess. You lost control as soon as you saw the siren struggling to breathe. Forest, you attacked Nann, we had to knock you out, you nearly killed half of my men in the process." I lowered my head onto my clenched fists, "What the fuck has gotten into you?" I inhaled and bit my lip, my breath catching within my throat,
"I.." my wings wrapped around me in comfort, "I don't know Okay. I just.. I don't know.." I felt a warmth engulf me as Nainx lifted me from my crouched position and dragged me into a hug, "but I know my dragon needs to be aware of the sirens' well-being." Nainx tensed and I pulled away, "Nai please." He nodded reluctantly, wrapping an arm around my waist to help me from tumbling over again, not aware of the weight of my wings making me incredibly unbalanced.

As Nai and two of his men took me down to the brig I couldn't help but begin to feel bad, the guards and men stayed at least two feet away, I could see the scratches on one of them, stretching from his shoulder to his wrist, four of them, like a claw struck him,

'Maybe Dascar was right, I am a monster without control. Yet somehow, when I do have control, I lose it for a girl whom I should despise.'

"Are we sure we should bring your sweetheart to the siren sir?" I looked up, Nai sighed and looked towards me, our eyes locking, "Sir?"
"Yeah, take her, explain what happened, and let her walk against the walls, her body hasn't got used to her wings yet, I'm going up to the deck." The men nodded wearily, as Nainx turned around to leave, he began to walk off before he abruptly stopped and turned around sharply, "oh! And if any harm comes to her, you're all going swimming with the sharks. Forever." Once more, the men nodded, and this time Nainx actually went above deck.

As we walked I began to drift away from the wall, the large mass on my back beginning to steady me instead of dropping me, it was a silent walk, as expected,

'Compared to the merchants, these men are so shut off, even the endermen are more social than these bastards, they aren't even following their chief's instructions for the sake of not speaking.'

"Sweetheart." I looked up and hummed in response, "here it is."

The sight that met my eyes both panicked me, yet calmed me.

'I'm losing control for the enemy and I'm okay with that...'
