Peter landed on the building right next to his window, and he opened it for Amaya. She easily flew herself through the window and into his room, and then Peter climbed through, and she grabbed her phone and immediately returned her mother's calls.
"Amaya, what is going on?" Katherine Rogers' shrill voice rang through the phone. Amaya has heard her mother speak in many tones but never shrill. 
"I'm back at Peter's house. I know it probably wasn't safe to come here, but it also wouldn't have been safe to come home. Not with Anthony there." Amaya said.
"Well, our house is already swarmed with reporters. Everyone wants to know how the child of two superheroes is a murderer." Steve said, and Amaya sighed.
"This is wrong. It's all wrong. We didn't kill Mysterio." Amaya said.
"We know, honey. Look, stay with May and Peter. I know how to evade reporters, and we'll meet you guys over there, okay?" Katherine said, and Amaya sighed.
"Okay. Love you." Amaya said.
"We love you," Steve responded, and Amaya hung up the phone and looked at her boyfriend, who was now changing his clothes. Happy Hogan, who had just been dumped by May and was about to leave, heard a noise coming from Peter's room, and he came to investigate.
"Peter, what are we going to do?" Amaya asked.
"I don't know! Oh, no. I don't know what to do." Peter said as Happy opened the door to see the couple in Peter's room. Amaya was fully clothed and cupping Peter's cheeks while Peter was holding his suit up, but when the door opened, he dropped his suit, which left him in his boxers.
"Oh, I...-I didn't see anything." Happy said as he quickly turned around.
"This isn't what it looks like," Peter said as May started closing the door.
"I swear it's not. I'm literally fully dressed." Amaya defended. 
"Practice safe...-" May cut off as she realized something, and she reopened the door. "Oh, hey. Amaya, I saw your parents called earlier, but I was a little busy and couldn't answer. Did they not know you were coming here?" May asked, and Amaya sheepishly smiled. If that's what May was asking her, then she knows she hasn't seen the news.
"Uh, yeah. It must've slipped my mind." Amaya said as May pulled her into a hug, and Peter pointed over to Happy.
"Wait, have you been crying?" Peter asked.
"We broke up." Happy said, and Peter's eyes widened. 
"Oh... Oh!" Peter said.
"Hey, Spider-Man!" Somebody yelled from outside, and Amaya quickly walked over to Peter's window and closed the curtains, and then she handed Peter a shirt.
