Exposed || PETER PARKER [3]

[12]: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

2023 ― New York City, New York

Strange shot out a magical whip, and he got the box back from the Goblin, but he didn't notice one of the Goblin's bombs inside the box. All three Peters and Amaya clocked it immediately and saw that Strange was about to push the button to send them all home.

"Strange, no!" Peter exclaimed as the explosion went off.

The explosion knocked everyone off their balance, and within the chaos, the Goblin strode up to Amaya on his glider, and before she could react, he had put cuffs on her wrists. They were individual cuffs for each wrist, they didn't connect in the middle. "You're not the only one who can come up with a cure." The Goblin said. Amaya lifted her hands and tried to use her powers on him, but the energy didn't come flowing out of her hands, making the Goblin cackle.

"What did you do to me?" Amaya asked.

"I fixed you. Just like you tried to fix me." He said. He threw another bomb in the air. Amaya tried to jump out of the way since she couldn't use her powers to deflect it because of the cuffs on her wrists. When it exploded, it knocked her off her balance and sent her over the edge of the construction site.

"Peter!" Amaya screamed as she started to free fall through the air with no way of stopping herself. "Peter! He blocked my powers. I can't catch myself!" She yelled as Peter dove in the air after his girlfriend. His eyes widened when her words registered, and he saw the cuffs around her wrists.

As Amaya fell, she tried to break out of them, but she wasn't strong enough. When she saw Peter reaching his hand out for her, she outstretched her arm to grab onto him. But Norman flew through and knocked Peter away from her, and Amaya could hear him cackling as he did.

Peter Three, who had been watching the whole thing, started getting flashbacks of Gwen. He immediately ran to the end and dove through the air in pursuit of Amaya. Since she couldn't save herself because of the cuffs, he couldn't let Peter lose her the way he lost Gwen. Peter Three wrapped his arms around Amaya, and once she was secure, he used one hand to shoot out a web to connect to the construction site and landed on his feet with her in her arms.

Amaya let out a deep breath as she looked around and then at Peter Three, who had tears in his eyes. "Are you okay?" He asked her, and she nodded her head. "I did it, Gwen." Peter's inner thoughts entered her mind. So the cuffs didn't block all of her powers, just her energy flow.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Amaya whispered to him. She noticed that Peter Three started to cry a little harder, and she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him as she sniffled, too, because she could hear his thoughts were filled with Gwen. "Thank you... I know she's proud of you too." Amaya whispered. Peter Three sniffled as he hugged Amaya back and nodded his head. "Are you okay?" She asked, and he nodded as he put her back on the ground.

"Yeah... thank you." He said. She held up her wrists so she could show him the cuffs.

"You got any idea how to get these off?" She asked. Before Peter Three could answer, she heard something crash, and when she followed the noise, the unfinished shield that they added to the statue had crashed onto the shore, and then a wide burst of energy went through the air.

Amaya saw the purple ripples in the air and knew if they didn't do something quick, all hell would break loose. But she also couldn't find Peter. "Amaya! Amaya!" She heard MJ calling out for her. She looked at Peter Three, and he nodded his head, and she ran off in the direction that she heard her friend's voice.
