2023 Queens, New York

May Parker immediately ran out of the apartment at her nephew's instruction. As she ran, Max ripped the device off him and shot out his electricity where the actual arc reactor was sitting. Norman ripped his wrist free from the web, but Amaya still had her powers wrapped around his wrist, and she threw him against the wall.

The lights started flickering when Max had the arc reactor in his hands. Amaya knew she was going to have to square off against him. Since his powers are electricity, and hers are a form of magic, she was the only one evenly matched with him.

"What have you done?" Otto asked.

"I liked you better before," Max said. He shot out electricity at Otto, knocked him through the window, and then turned to Amaya.

"Max, you don't have to do this," Amaya said as her glowing blue powers wrapped around her hands.

"I'm sorry, kid. I really did like you, too." Max said. Flint was outside, causing a sandstorm around the press and police, and Max disappeared into the sand causing electric currents. Amaya knew she couldn't let him get away, but he was too quick to follow.

She focused back inside of the room where Peter was squaring off against Norman, and Norman punched him so hard that he fell back out of the window. "Peter!" Amaya screamed, but he attached his web onto Norman's chest and pulled himself back up.

"Maya, I'm okay. I got him! You try to round up the others and find May if you can; make sure she's safe!" Peter thought to her since he couldn't say it out loud.

"I will."

When Amaya realized they had gotten away, she circled back into the building to find May and immediately went to the staircase. "May! May!" Amaya yelled. May heard her voice and stopped walking.

"Maya! I'm down here." May responded. Amaya flew down the rest of the flight of stairs until she reached the level May was on, and then she quickly wrapped her in a hug.

"Okay, let's get you out of here, and once you're safe, I can come back and help Peter," Amaya said. May nodded her head as they exited the staircase, right as Norman had tackled Peter through the floors of the building, and they came crashing onto the ground with all the rubble around them.

Norman was on top of Peter with his hands on his throat. "Your weakness, Peter, is morality. It's choking you. Can't you feel it?" Norman asked. May ran up behind him and stabbed him in the neck with the antidote they had been working on, which made him release Peter's throat, and then Amaya used her powers to throw Norman into the wall and away from them. When he recovered, he pulled the stick out of his neck and faced Amaya and May while Peter was still on the ground.

"It didn't work. Norman was right; he got it from you... that pathetic sickness." Norman snapped. He had walked back over to Peter, and with his foot, he pushed Peter's head back down on the rubble. Then he bent down and picked up Peter's head by his hair. "You tried to fix me. Now, I'm gonna fix you." He said.

May had picked up something from the rubble and was ready to fight Norman, but Amaya stepped in front of her. "May, go. Please. I can handle this." Amaya said. Amaya had her powers wrapped around her hands and was ready to fire at Norman, but she didn't notice that his glider was behind them outside the building and about to come crashing in.

"May, run, please." Peter weakly said.

Amaya shot out her powers from both hands. One to knock away Norman from Peter, and with the other hand, she stabilized Peter so his face didn't slam against the concrete again, but in doing so, she couldn't stop the glider from coming in behind them. It struck May the hardest, but Amaya got some of the blow, which sent her and May into the rubble. Her powers dropped from around Peter and Norman.
