I had just finished my training for today and as i was heading upstairs towards my room i heard father call for me and the rest of my siblings to come to the front room.
When i finally got there after having to pry an angry Natsuo of a crying Fuyumi and now with the aforementioned duo in tow i headed into the room,upon entering I noticed father standing in the corner of the room whilst looking menacingly at us with mom looking at the floor next to him.
"Sit down we have something to tell you"
My fathers stern voice boomed through the house and shiver ran through my spine as i held my younger siblings just a little bit closer to me.
I looked towards mom and she looked unsure about something before she took a deep breath and said-
"We will be h-having new member join our family soo—"
"WE'RE GETTING A DOG? YAAAYY!!!"
Natsuo and Fuyumi shouted gleefully in perfect sync, to be honest despite their age gap they acted like twins at times.
Mom smiled and their enthusiasm but shook her head at their assumption.
"Well we might be able to get one but no thats not what i am talking about, Y-You are getting a new sibling"
A moment of silence ensued immediately after the shocking revelation took place.
"Amma be a bwig buddah?"
Mom looked at natsuo for a second before a large smile enveloped her face and she held him up and swung him.
"Yes Natsuo your going to be a big brother very soon!"
"Amma be dah best bwig buddah evwer!"
"And I'm going to be the best big sister ever!"
Mom put him down and turned to me, she crouched down as her cool grey eyes met my icy blue ones i realised just how little I resembled her, my bright red hair contrasting her pale white in-fact i seem to be the spitting image of her tormentor, father 'why does she love me so when i look just like —'
"What about you Touya ? Can i trust you to be an amazing older brother as you have done for Natsuo and Fuyumi ?"
Moms question interrupted my thoughts and a large grin creeped onto my face i looked towards her and without averting my eyes i proudly declared,
"Yes !"
Present Day
We sat in the corner of the waiting room as father wasn't here yet and they didn't let us stay with mom in the room but despite the door being closed we could still hear moms cries of pain.
"AARGH"
Fuyumi and Natsuo gripped my arm's tighter their fingernails digging into my skin not hard enough for them to draw blood but enough for it to hurt.
" Touya-nii?, Touya-nii?"
I looked down at Fuyumi who was tugging at my shirt trying to get my attention.
"What's wrong Fuyumi?"
"W-why does mommy keep having new babies when it hurts her ?"
I looked at her with a blank face for a second before I managed to think of an answer.
"It's because she loves us so much that she wants to share more of that love with more kids!"
"Oh ok, thanks Touya-nii"

My eyes fluttered open and i rubbed my eyes as i realised that there was a nurse standing in front of me and i shot up immediately.
" My mom!, where is she ?"
My frantic shouts woke my two other siblings who lay beside me after also falling asleep.
"Don't worry young man, she and your new siblings are in great hands, in-fact would you like to go meet them now?"
What did she just say ' siblings?' But mom didn't say anything about their being twins in her tummy... I slapped my cheeks in an attempt to wake myself up properly and looked at the nurse.
"Yes please"
I got my and my siblings things together and as we entered the room we could see mom sitting up on the hospital bed holding to bundles close to her chest.
" MOMMY!!!"
Natsuo ran up to moms bed trying to get a look at the bundles.
"Are they boys or girls or both?"
Mom looked up at me and i could see the exhaustion in her eyes but through that I was able to see her absolute delight at the birth of our new siblings.
"Boys , Both of them, me and your father decided the eldest will be named shouto and the younger will be izuku, shouto is older by 18 seconds"
She showed me both of the bundles and i saw that one was dressed in striped overalls whilst the other was in spotted ones.
"The one in stripes is shouto and the one in spots is izuku"
She handed me shouto and the second he was placed in my arms he began to bawl his eyes out as if someone had hurt him.

I looked at mom desperately as i had no idea what i should do, Natsuo had never cried like this as a baby and he was the only experience i have when it comes to holding babies.
"Sorry Touya, Shouto seems to be a bit of a crybaby,would you like to carry izuku instead?"
Mom looked at me apologetically and took shouto off me and replaced him with izuku, i held him carefully wary of him bursting into tears as shouto had done but instead he looked at me with a blank face and stared at me.

His heterochromatic eyes bore into my icy blue ones as i gave him a huge smile and he raised his chubby hand and grasped onto my finger before promptly placing it in his mouth ant biting down on it with his gums.
"Hahaha, He's gonna eawt uoo up towa-nii"
Natsuo laughed at izukus antics and for the first time in a very long while i felt at complete peace in my families presence.
