Chapter 3: Useless

Third person POV

It had been 4 days since the birth of the twins and during that time endeavour had visited Rei only once, demanding for her to tell him the whereabouts of touya.

"Where is he?"

Endeavour had came into the room as Rei was just about finished breastfeeding her twins, he had gotten straight to the point and demanded Rei to tell him where touya was.

"WHERE IS HE!?!"

When Rei failed to answer the first time his temper flared and he shouted at her immediately, this caused Rei to shake tremendously as memories of his abuse swarmed into her head, it took her a few seconds to calm herself down before she could confidently look up at him straight in the eyes.

"I don't know, one of my colleagues offered to take care of the kids whilst i am in the hospital, she went on a camping trip but i don't know where to"

"THEN USE YOUR PHONE AND TELL THEM TO BRING TOUYA HERE!!"

"I don't have a phone, you broke it remember"

It was true, during a fight endeavour had kicked Rei across the room and her phone, that was in her back pocket had smashed into pieces, he had left it at that as he didn't want to harm any of the children she was bearing in her womb at the time.

"Fine then"

Rei looked at him quizzically as she had been expecting more screaming and shouting, as well as threats demanding the whereabouts of their eldest, however what he said next made her blood run cold.

"He was a failure anyway, but by the looks of them" he was pointing and the twins who were lying side by side in a bedside cot. "They will be my masterpieces worthy of taking all mights and my places as the number 1 and 2 heroes" a sickening grin spread across his face and he left the room closing the door behind him.

Current day
Touya's POV

Auntie Inko had dropped us off at our house after having an amazing time at hers camping and playing around it would have been perfect if mom was there too.

Before I could even reach our door and slot the key in it was opened, and my father stood behind it in the corridor.

"Tch..."

He looked at all of us and let out a low growl before retreating back into the house, i was about to enter but stopped as i heard the unmistakable sound of a baby crying, i looked behind and i saw mom leaving a car whilst holding Shouto and Izuku, but before i could run up to her and hug her my other two siblings had already dashed past me and began to clamour for attention from mom.

"Waaah Waaah Waaaaah!"

I jolted up from my sleep and exited my room, i tiptoed out into the corridor and peeked my head into moms and the babies room, there i saw mom with a messy mop of hair trying to calm one of the twins down whilst the other one was banging his hand on the side of the crib.

"Mom? Do you need any help?"

Mom looked up at me just noticing my presence and gave me a tired grin, i walked in and sat down next to her and noticed that the one bawling his head of was shouto, the twins looked really similar the main difference being shouto had red hair on his left and white hair on his right whilst the opposite was for izuku having white hair on his left and red on his right.

I took shouto off her and managed to calm him down and after playing peek-a-boo with him for a bit he stopped crying and instead began to stare at me puzzled.

"Touya, im sure you will be an amazing brother and role model for your siblings"

Mom hugged me after saying that and i hugged back shortly afterwards she said nothing but i felt safe and secure in her arms, times like these were rare as we didn't contact each other much despite living in the same house due to my training with father.

I woke up on the floor of moms bedroom, i must have fallen asleep by accident, i looked towards the clock on the wall and- OH NO its 6:54, training with father starts at 7:00 on the dot and the last time i was late, lets just say it wasn't a good day.

I jump up and dash to my room, i change my clothes and zip out of the door ignoring the growling coming from my stomach and running my fingers through my hair as i had no time to comb it properly.

I dash through the hallways and finally i reach the training room , i look to the clock placed above the door and see the time.

i approach the door hesitantly and enter into the room quietly.

"Touya"

I flinch at the sound of father's voice and i brace my self expecting a slap across the face or a fire-infused punch to the stomach but to my surprise there is none.

"Sit down, i have something to tell you"

Now this puzzled me, why was he not already shouting and hitting me, usually just arriving late would be enough to set him off for the rest of the day, increasing the difficulty of the training and inflicting harsher punishments.

Nevertheless i did not want to anger him so i sat down quickly and apologised for my lateness.

"I, will no longer be needing you to come here, you aren't going to be able to become the number one hero with that defective quirk of yours"

"What are you talking about?, is this because i was late?, I promise I will be on time from no-"

"No, i will no longer train you and you will no longer train"

I could feel the tears rolling down my cheeks, what was father saying of course i was going to become the number one hero, if I wasn't then what was the point of my life up until now ? father has always told me that i am meant to triumph over my peers and excel over them but now he... he's saying i can't do that, that i am...
