Chapter 7: Quirks

Shouto's POV

Me and izu ran to our room and threw on some clean clothes momma was still sleeping and we didn't want to disturb her so we couldn't wear our favourite button up shirts and instead wore pink polos and matching grey shorts.

We nearly tripped as we went down the stairs but just about managed to catch ourselves before we fell and we then headed into the main room as we waited for father and momma to arrive, izu and i were playing a round of chopsticks when father came into the room with momma tailing behind him, her head down as usual.

"Get into the car"

That was all the persuasion izu and i needed and we jumped into the back seats strapping ourselves into our car seats.

"We're here! Don't act up, or else..."

Me and izu nodded our heads vigorously as we had already learnt the hard way that father was one to always follow through with his threats.

Momma opened the door for us and izu hopped out and i followed suit, as we walked into the building and towards one of the rooms i felt momma's hand tighten around mine, i looked up and saw the grim expression on her face and i could feel the my heart beat faster.

"Come in"

Just as we had reached the door a kindly looking old man opened it and guided us inside.

Third person POV

The Todoroki couple sat in silence as the twins were taken to a separate room to have scans and tests taken.

"Momma!"

Izuku ran into his mother's arms as soon as he entered the room, he pulled shouto along as he hugged his mother.

"The results are in, would the guardians of the children please step out"

Endeavour who had been as quiet as a mouse for the duration of their time in there now seemed to have a problem with this.

"Why should i have to leave the room! They are my crea— my children and i have a right to know what their quirks are!"

The doctor pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped sweat off his forehead, clearly scared.

"Just a formal precaution sir, you can find out within the hour"

Endeavour gave the doctor one final glare before he stormed out of the room Rei following after him shortly.

"Now then, Which one of you want to hear about their quirk first!"

Izuku jumped out of his seat nearly toppling it over in the process, but before he could say anything shouto covered his mouth with his hand and said:

"Im older so i should know first"

Izuku swatted his hand away and turned his attention towards his twin his eyes filled with disbelief.

"Thats not Fair!!!!"

The doctor chuckled at their antics before proposing a solution.

"Your quirks are almost nearly the same, how about i tell you them at the same time?"

The twins nodded their heads vigorously at his proposal.

"Well then, your quirks are...."

"Will you be fine with me telling this to your parents?"

The twins were silent before giving a grim nod and Shouto tensed up noticeably.

The doctor then reopened the door and let their parents in, Enji and Rei reclaimed their places in the room and sat silently waiting for the doctor to talk.

"Well Mr And Mrs Todoroki im sure you will be pleased to hear that your children have inherited a stronger version of both of your quirks"

A large grin creeped onto Endeavours face...

"Shouto has a quirk called Half-Cold Half-Hot meaning he has Cryokinesis on his right side and Pyrokinesis on his left side, Whilst Izuku has a similar quirk called Half-Hot Half-Cold
Cryokinesis on his left side and Pyrokinesis on his right side"

Rei's hand tightened around her purse as she saw the way Enji was looking at the kids...

"Furthermore the twins seem to have developed a mutation quirk"

"A what now?"

Enji was surprised, as far as he knew no one in his or Rei's family had ever had a quirk causing a mutation.

"Yes! A mutation in their genetics caused them both to develop another quirk! However it will take time for it to show!"

Enji was getting impatient, he inly wanted to know of the additional quirk his creations had yet the doctor was rambling on about unimportant matters, he glared at him and it didn't take long for the doctor to notice.

"Ah, yes i forgot to tell you what the quirk was, the twins will be growing...

...Wings"
