As the months went by the difference's between the two twins became more apparent and although they looked much like mirrored of each other on the outside but they differed so much in everything else that they seemed like opposites of each other.
Shouto for one was very loud and cried a lot and if he got hurt in anyway then he would bring out the waterworks immediately and sometimes he wouldn't even get hurt but rather he would see izuku get hurt and cry for him, he was really sociable and babbled a lot never quite making coherent sentences, he liked staying in hot places but preferred to eat cold foods more specifically ice cubes as the family had found he sucking happily on one a numerous amount of times.
Izuku on the other hand was very quiet and meek he wouldn't cry much but tended to do so whenever he saw or heard shouto crying, he liked to sit inside of their walk in freezer and ever since he learned how to crawl he would often disappear around the house and end up there, he loved hot foods and could never be left alone as he would always be able to climb something and hurt himself, he was not very sociable and tended to hit anyone he didn't know if they tried to pick him up or touch him.
Despite their differences the two still did everything together most times in perfect sync, they were a cause of major stressful for their mother and siblings as oftentimes they would disappear without a trace from a room they were put in and they would need to be hunted down before they got hurt.
Rei POV
"Hahh"
I was tired.
The twins who were just about reaching 11 months were so energetic and had no sense of danger and ive had to stop them from trying to go down the stairs and fall to their certain death an uncountable amount of times.
I however was more drained than ever having to look over two babies at the same time coupled with breastfeeding was sucking the life out of my body and even with the help of touya sometimes it was just too much for me to handle.
I had just gotten the twins to sleep and had finally rested my head on a pillow but before i could close my eyes and get the beauty sleep that I so dearly needed before they woke up and once again relentlessly worried me, enj— no endeavour burst through my room door, waking up the twins and causing shouto to burst into tears.
Third person POV
"Hand me them.Now"
Those few words sent a spiral of thoughts through her head 'what did he want with them?' 'Was he going to try and take them away from her ?' 'Was he going to hurt them?'.
She slowly rose up from her position on the floor and carefully scooped up the twins in her arms, she inched closer to the doorway but before handing over the children she opened her mouth as if trying to say something, but she was abruptly cut off by a glare sent her way from her husband.
Endeavour took the children out of her arms and held them carefully, he sent a look of distaste to shouto due to the fact that he was still crying, endeavour then turned around and walked down the corridor before stopping just before turning the corner.
"I have decided that it would be better for them to be raised without your interference, they will have excellent caretakers and teachers but i will permit for you to have a half-day visit to them once every 3 months"
Without turning around he managed to shatter the already broken remains of Rei's mentality and then walked off down the corridor disappearing from view.
"AAAAARGH"
"WRAAAAAGH"
Rei then began to scream whilst flailing her arms and legs around, she attempted to run after endeavour but was held back by one of the house attendants, with her movement restricted Rei began screaming and crying out for her children but her neck was dealt a powerful blow and she promptly lost consciousness and crumpled to the ground.
"Lock her in her room, don't let her out till she has calmed down, and make sure she doesn't try to come to the south wing"
"As you wish....Master"
The female servant carefully picked up Rei and moved her back inside the room ensuring that she was in a comfortable position before leaving the room and locking it behind her.
She seemed to disappear into the shadows but soon reappeared behind endeavour.
"Elize!, i am putting you in charge of taking care of them"
"Yes sir, would you like me to take them off your hands and calm down the one thats crying?"
Shouto had still been crying throughout this whole ordeal but it was much quieter as he seemed to have tired himself out.
"I know of their names shouto and izuku but could you please enlighten me on which of them is which?"
"I do no— ask that woman i don't see why i should care about what they're called, all that matters is whether or not they turn out as failures to the family"
He glared at her before pointing to the door of a room a few meters away.
"That is where they are to stay from now on"
And without uttering another word he passed the infants to her and then entered into a room a few doors down slamming the door behind him.

The second that thing shut the door my blank face was replaced with one of utter disgust, 'how could he not even know the names of his own children?' 'Why was he treating them like nothing but objects for him to use?' Honestly i hated his guts and everything about him... but as much as i hated him i still had a mission to do, i needed to save Madam Rei from him and to do that i needed evidence.
Let me explain, at the age of 4 Madam Rei had found me living on the streets hungry and desperate, she had fed me and clothed me saving me from the harsh life on the streets and from that day on i pledged to dedicate the rest of my life to madam Rei, but i was....too weak, and because of my fault madam Rei was forced to enter into the Todoroki household.
10 years ago Third person POV
"Madam!, please i beg of you! don't agree with this marriage!"
"Im sorry Elize but i must, this id the only way i can stop our family falling into bankruptcy"
"Its a quirk marriage Madam! He will never love you! Please i beg you just decline it! I do not wish to see you hurt!"
Even as Rei was arguing with Elize she maintained her composure keeping calm and held a quiet smile on her face.
"Elize...What is your duty?"
"To serve you of course madam!"
She raised her head and smiled looking straight into the amber eyes of Elize.
"And just like that it is my duty to assist my family's business in any way possible"
Flashback over Elize's POV
My hands clenched at that memory, soon after the madam had gone through with the marriage and one year after, just a little after the birth of young master touya , we had found out that the problems leading to the family's bankruptcy were orchestrated by the todoroki's.
