Artemis

Have you ever met someone who is always single, but all their friends say they should date that person because they're so pretty and have such a nice personality. Well, you're about to experience one right now ;3

"Hurry up Jade you're gonna be late for your first day of Senior year!!" Mom said.
"I'm almost done hanging on!" Jade said rushing around to grab her stuff in her room.
Once she grabbed everything she went off to the kitchen. She saw her mom holding her breakfast to-go bag. Jade quickly grabbed it.
"First year of me nor dad taking you to school now. Be careful." Mom said.
"Don't worry mom. I'll be fine. I've been driving with my license for a year now." Jade said.
"Have fun sweetie." Dad said.
Jade kissed both mom and dad on the cheek and left for school. She was so ready for her first day of being a Senior.

Once Jade parked her car all her friends surrounded the car. For Jade's 17th birthday, her parents bought her a customized Honda civic type r. She's been wanting one ever since she first saw Tokyo Drift, and that was the only car she ever wanted. Her parents gave her it because she passed her SATs and got a 4.0 GPA for the 2nd year in a row. Jade is a very intelligent girl when it comes to her academics, and also very athletic. She plays for varsity volleyball team and the varsity swim team. She was everything a regular person wanted to be, she's perfect...

Jade got out of her car and went with her friends.
"Hey guys!" Jade said.
They all greeted each other happily. They all were excited that it was the last year of high school for them. Meaning they could relax and enjoy their last year of their childhood, and they all wanna spend it together.
"Hey Jade, you're going to the bonfire tonight right? It's Senior bonfire night." Tim asked.
"Of course I am! How could I miss out on that?" Jade said.
They all laughed. Jade then saw her dashing boyfriend come to her with a bouquet of roses.
"Hey baby." Mark said.
"My prince hehe." Jade said.
She took the roses and they both kissed. Everyone around them awwed and cheered them. Mark is the captain of the football and water polo team. Both of them were captains of their varsity teams, so it made sense for them to be together. Is what everyone says.
They all walked with each other to Jade's locker. Just then, she saw her friend, Melody, come up to Jade with another girl.
"Hey Jade! Nice outfit." Melody said.
"Thanks Mel! Who is this?" Jade asked.
"This is my cousin, Artemis. She just moved to LA couple days ago because of my aunt's work. So she'll be attending our school. She too is also a Senior." Melody said.
"She's really tall hehe. Her fashion style, it's like the complete opposite of mine, very dark." Jade thought.
"It's nice to meet you Jade." Artemis said.
"You too." Jade said.
They shook hands. The bell then rang. Everyone headed to their class. When Jade went into her class, she noticed Artemis was also in her class, sitting on her seat. Jade went up to her.
"You're sitting on my seat." Jade said.
"I didn't see a name on here. You should've came earlier." Artemis said.
"I always sit here. Everyone in the class technically knows that I owe that seat." Jade said.
"Yeah, I didn't see your name on the chair/desk though." Artemis said.
"I said get out of my seat!" Jade said.
Artemis stood up in front of Jade. She was basically towering over Jade. Jade got a little nervous.
"Fine." Jade said.
Jade sat on the seat next to Artemis since the teacher came in.
"Welcome to English IIII everyone. I'm sure all the Seniors in here are all pretty excited since it is their last year, but I am still making everyone work. And don't worry, it will be fun. All of my classes are fun." Mrs. Lee said.
Everyone giggled.
"For today, I am gonna make you all come up here and introduce yourself. Your name, favorite color, and what you did over the summer. Who would like to go first?" Mrs. Lee asked.
Jade quickly put her hand up. Mrs. Lee nodded and Jade and she went up.
"Hi everyone! I'm Jaded Yang, my favorite color is pastel green, and what I did over the summer. I went to visit my cousins at Europe for a whole month and I got to shop and see many things. I really enjoyed it. I'm even wearing a pearl necklace I bought at a very expensive store in Europe, this was about $500." Jade said.
Everyone was shocked.
"And you decided to wear it at school?" Artemis asked.
"Yes I did. It looked good with my outfit." Jade said.
Artemis rolled her eyes and continued listening to music. Jade sat back down. Many of the other students went up. Once everyone went, it was Artemis' turn. She got up.
"Hey I'm Artemis Sanchez, my favorite color is really dark red, and I went with my dad to Asia to hangout with some fun people. The night life in Japan is hella fun, I wish I'd go back. There were so many drunk people fighting and I recorded them all haha. If you wanna see some of the vids you can ask me and I can send them to you." Artemis said.
Everyone laughed and clapped for Artemis.
"How is everyone getting excited over that? They're just drunk people fighting. Well, I mean it is pretty funny to see drunk people." Jade thought.
Artemis sat down and Mrs. Lee started class. Artemis paid zero attention throughout the class and Jade knew. She didn't do anything though cause it wasn't her problem. But Jade was pretty curious about Artemis.
