Artemis 1

School

Jade was in English class. Artemis came in the second before the bell rang.
"You're actually in class." Jade said.
"I heard we're doing something fun in class today." Artemis said.
The teacher came in.
"Good morning everyone, today we will be doing a project. You all will be working in pairs of 2. The project is about Greek mythology. The reason I chose Greek mythology is because this is a project I've done for many years with all my Senior classes, and they all enjoy it very much. Since this class is almost filled with Seniors, I decided to do it. You all will be talking about a certain Greek god/goddess. Each group will be talking about a either romance or tragic event that happened to their Greek god/goddess. Everyone will be doing to a different Greek god/goddess. Once you find your partner, you all will decide a god/goddess and tell me. I will write down on the board who got what, so then you all will see which god/goddess is taken." The teacher said.
Artemis and Jade looked at each other right away. Everyone then started looking for their partner.
"Can we please do Artemis? I have so much information about her that people rarely know." Artemis asked.
"Of course!" Jade said.
Artemis rushed to the teacher, almost bumping into a desk. Jade giggled.
"She's adorable." Jade thought.
Once Artemis told the teacher, she sat back down as the teacher wrote down on the board that Jade and Artemis took the Greek Goddess, Artemis. Once all the groups told the teacher, everyone was quiet.
"You all will be making a video about your god/goddess. You will make a quick 5 minute video of a summary of your god/goddess. You can dress up, just talk about your god/goddess. anything. No nudity please. I know a lot of Greek mythology paintings have nudity in them, but we're still students at a school. Each group will then show their video to the class. I am giving everyone 5 weeks for the video." The teacher said.
Everyone then started talking.
"I say we make you dress up as Artemis. It makes sense." Jade said.
"I'll take it. Do I have to wear a wig?" Artemis asked.
"No. I can't imagine you with long hair. And if I do, I wouldn't really like it." Jade said.
They both laughed.
"We can do something like you do whatever Artemis does and I can have my voice as like a narrator." Jade said.
"Sure thing. Here's one thing though. I kinda wanna react a few scenes that Artemis has. Artemis is actually a huge lesbo in Greek mythology." Artemis said.
"Wait really!?!" Jade asked.
"Yeah! If you do some hard research, it will show that there a lot of LGTBQ+ in Greek mythology. Of course not a lot of people talk about it due to society being soft about the LGBTQ+ topic. But I wanna talk about this more. Especially since I too am a lesbo." Artemis said.
"You are exactly like Artemis." Jade said.
"Exactly!" Artemis said.
"You seem really excited about this project." Jade said.
"I am! I get to show people something about me in a way of my interest. If I said that right." Artemis said.
"She's like a puppy wagging her tail like crazy. She's so cute hehe." Jade thought.
Artemis started writing down ideas. Jade just watched her and adore her little nerdy side. She started realizing Artemis' features a bit more, and she started liking her features. That tattoo on her shoulder and ribcage, the 2 earlobe piercings and industrial piercing on the right ear, and 3 one earlobe and 2 helix piercings on her left ear. She also noticed Artemis' hazel green eyes. She started liking Artemis' features.
"I heard tattoos are painful." Jade said.
"The one on my shoulder didn't hurt as much as the one on my ribcage." Artemis said.
"You have like a small dragon on your shoulder, and a bow and arrow on your ribcage." Jade said.
"I got matching dragons with Melody actually." Artemis said.
"She did say she got a dragon tattoo on her thigh. I didn't know you two were matching." Jade said.
"She has like a white one, I have obviously have a black one. Yin Yang." Artemis said.
"That's cute. And the bow and arrow, Artemis." Jade said.
Artemis nodded.
"I can see you having an arm sleeve of just random things you like." Artemis said.
"You can?" Jade asked.
Artemis nodded.
"I honestly want to get a tattoo. But my parents would kill me and I'm underage." Jade said.
"I got my first tattoo when I was 16. And that is the one on my back." Artemis said.
"You have one on your back!?!" Jade asked.
"You can look if you want." Artemis said.
Jade went behind Artemis and lifted the back of her shirt.

"Woah this looks so cool!!" Jade said.
"Yup hehe." Artemis said.
"How long did it take?" Jade asked.
"About 6 hours." Artemis said.
"And you just laid there the whole time?" Jade asked.
"There were a few moments where I got to stand and stretch a bit." Artemis said.
"You make tattoos look so cool." Jade said.
"I know someone who can give you a tattoo." Artemis said.
"My parents would kill me." Jade said.
"You can get a tiny one and hide it somewhere. Like your finger, and if you're parents question, just say it's a drawing." Artemis said.
"What would I get on my finger though?" Jade asked.
"This would look good on you." Artemis said then showing a tattoo on her phone.

"Oh I like that one!" Jade said.
"We can get it today." Artemis said.
"Really??" Jade asked.
"If you have nothing after school." Artemis said.
"I don't!" Jade said.
"Volleyball practice." Artemis said.
"I'll tell my coach I have family event that I can't miss out on!" Jade said.
"Alright then. But if you get caught, don't blame me." Artemis said.
"Now why would I blame you? I saved you with the security guard." Jade said.
"You still ratted us out." Artemis said.
"At least you didn't get suspended nor got your shit taken away." Jade said.
"True." Artemis said.
