Artemis 1

Tattoo

Jade and Artemis entered the tattoo shop. She saw her friend come up to her.
"Wassup Artemis!" The guy said.
"Hey Z!" Artemis said.
They both hugged.
"Getting another tattoo today?" Z asked.
"Actually, this lovely lady is." Artemis said.
"This is Jade. Jade, this is my friend Z. We've been friends for years." Artemis said.
"I've known this girl ever since she started blinking." Z said.
"You two have known each other for a while I guess." Jade said.
"He was my neighbor. And we both were born at the same hospital. Z and I have been hanging out everyday until we both moved here. And that's when I heard that he opened up this tattoo shop a couple months ago before I moved here.." Artemis said.
"Wait you're the owner of this tattoo shop?" Jade asked.
"Yup! I opened it up and it's been going really good." Z said.
"I can tell with the amount of customers and workers you have here." Jade said.
"I'll help you with your first tattoo." Z said.
They all went into a room.
"I'm guessing you're getting a finger tattoo first?" Z said.
"How'd you know?" Jade asked.
"Many beginners get a finger tattoo. Just to get a feel for it, and to also hide it from parents." Z said.
"You're literally saying what I've been planning." Jade said.
"Kids like you are always like this." Z said.
"I'm 17." Jade said.
"And I'm 20." Z said.
They all laughed. Artemis showed Z what tattoo Jade's getting. He made the stencil and he started.
"It feels like someone is pinching me over and over." Jade said.
"Does it hurt?" Artemis asked.
"A little, but not badly." Jade said.
"That's good." Z said.
As he continued, Jade felt a sharp pain and grabbed onto Artemis' wrist, and squeezed it.
"Geez you have a good grip." Artemis said.
"Sorry! Did I hurt you?" Jade asked.
"Nope, you're good. You can hold my hand and squeeze it if you need to." Artemis said.
Jade did exactly what Artemis suggested.
"She has small hands hehe. And really soft hands too. Her nails look really pretty to, I like the pastel green. She's adorable." Artemis thought.

{ After Tattoo }

Jade was looking at her first ever tattoo.
"This is really pretty, I like it!" Jade said.
"I'm glad you like it." Z said.
"How much?" Jade asked.
"No need to pay for this one, it's on me. But if you do plan to get more, you will pay for those." Z said.
"Of course!" Jade said.
Artemis and Jade then left the tattoo shop.
"So, how do you feel?" Artemis asked.
"It was fun. I might get more now, but small ones obviously. Maybe when I turn 18 I'll start getting bigger ones." Jade said.
"When is your birthday by the way?" Artemis asked.
"It's actually next Saturday." Jade said.
"Oh shoot, happy early birthday Cupid." Artemis said.
"Thanks haha. But my actual birthday is on Tuesday, but party on Saturday." Jade said.
"You don't seem too excited about the party." Artemis said.
"My parents are making me have a big party for my 18th." Jade said.
"And you don't want that." Artemis said.
"Nope." Jade said.
"Then what do you want?" Artemis asked.
"I just wanna hangout with my friends, but not like the group." Jade said.
"Then who?" Artemis asked.
"Melody, San, Josh, and Yumeko. They are actually my main group before I met Mark." Jade said.
"I thought that big group was your friend group." Artemis said.
"Mark brought them along. They're his friend group, but we both decided to combine the group." Jade said.
"You should do that on your actual birthday on Tuesday." Artemis said.
"We are actually. We planned it behind the group's back because we knew they were coming to my big party. You should join us." Jade said.
"That's your tiny friend group. I don't wanna make things weird." Artemis said.
"You won't I promise. And if you feel awkward, you can always talk to me and Melody." Jade said.
"Most likely you because Melody is a people person. I am not obviously." Artemis said.
They both laughed.
"I'll most likely be talking to you then." Jade said.
They both smiled.
"Anyway, it's gonna be at my place. Actually, you've never been to my place before." Jade said.

{ Jade's Home }

Jade opened the door and went inside. Her Samoyed dog, Snowball, ran up to her and Artemis.
"Hey there big boy hehe." Jade said to Snowball.
"You have a Samoyed!!" Artemis said.
"I do hehe. He's 5 years old." Jade said.
"He's adorable!!" Artemis said.
Snowball went to Artemis. Jade's mom then came in with a Himalayan cat, Boba.
"Boba looks better now." Jade said.
"We got her some medicine." Jade's mom said.
"You have a cat as well!?" Artemis said.
Jade giggled.
"Oh yeah, mom. This is Artemis, Melody's cousin. We have a project to do for English. I told you this before." Jade said.
"Right. She's your partner?" Jade's mom asked.
Jade nodded.
"Alright. Also, don't forget we have dinner tonight at the restaurant." Jade's mom said.
"I told you I'm not going mom." Jade said.
"You have no choice." Jade's mom said.
"Artemis doesn't have a ride home. I brought her with me." Jade said.
"Fine, she'll come to. Artemis, I also like your outfit, do you dress like that everyday?" Jade's mom asked.
"I do ma'am." Artemis said.
"You dress better than Jade's boyfriend, Mark." Jade's mom said.
"Oh, thank you haha." Artemis said.
"You two go have fun now." Jade's mom said.
Jade carried Boba as Snowball followed for Artemis to Jade's room. Jade sat down as Artemis looked around her room.
"Such a cute room." Artemis said.
"Thanks. Just a little childhood stuff here and there." Jade said.
"You look so cute as a baby!!" Artemis said.
Artemis took a picture frame. Jade got up and tried to grab it, but Artemis held it high above the both of them.
"Stop giving it back!!" Jade said.
"You look so cute hehe." Artemis said.
"Give it back!!" Jade said.
"I wanna keep this one it's adorable." Artemis said.
Jade stopped.
"Fine, I'll give you this one." Jade said.
She walked to her desk and gave Artemis a small photo of her as a baby.
"Here you go." Jade said.
"I like this one!" Artemis said.
Artemis put the photo on her phone case. Jade saw how cute it was and just giggled. They both laughed and laid down on the bed. She got a text from Yumeko. It was a video of Mark kissing another girl at the party. Jade put her phone down.
"What is it now?" Artemis asked.
"Mark." Jade said.
"You need to break up with him girl. He's stressing you out over nothing." Artemis said.
"I know. I just don't know how to break it to my parents." Jade said.
"Just say Mark cheated or something." Artemis said.
"That's a good one." Jade said.
"And then you can find someone that's actually worth your time." Artemis said.
"And who would that be? All the guys at the school are jerks." Jade said.
"It could possibly be a girl." Artemis said.
"That's an idea, but I don't know what it would be like dating one." Jade said.
"You're literally talking to a lesbian right here." Artemis said.
"I'm probably not even your type." Jade said.
Artemis sat up and looked at Jade.
"Would you ever try dating a girl?" Artemis asked.
"Now that I think of it, maybe. I really don't know." Jade said.
"Do you think you would see yourself like kissing a girl, holding hands, hugging a lot, going out on dates, just being with a girl?" Artemis asked.
"I never thought about it, but I can say most likely a more masculine girl than a feminine girl." Jade said.
"That makes sense. I prefer a more feminine girl due to me being masculine." Artemis said.
"Yeah I can see that. I do question, whenever you're with a girl, do you right away think about like dating them?" Jade asked.
"I do a lot. I hold back a lot because I don't wanna do anything bad that'll make them think I'm a bitch." Artemis said.
They both laughed.
"Have you ever thought that around me?" Jade asked.
"I have if I can be completely honest, yes. I have many times. And at first I just thought because you are just a pretty girl. And then when I met you, I thought we were never gonna be together cause we are polar opposites, but after I got to know you a bit more and hangout with you, I started liking you a lot more. And now, I extremely like you, but I didn't wanna do anything because I didn't wanna end a friendship we have right now. I know I met you like last month but I fall for girls really fast." Artemis said.
Jade giggled and touched Artemis' arm. Her hand slowly went down and they held hands.
"I too thought you were cute. I really like your features. I also really like your outfits, it makes me feel nice to be around you because you care about how you look, compared to Mark who just wears whatever he wants while I'm dressed all nice." Jade said.
"Oh I can tell haha. And yeah, you can do so much better.' Artemis said.
They both laughed.
"I also really thought it was cute during English class when you got excited for the project. It was adorable." Jade said.
"I feel embarrassed just hearing you say that to me." Artemis said.
They both laughed.
Jade sat up. They both looked at each other. They then realized, they were holding hands on the bed. Jade looked at Artemis.
