Chapter 4 (Rewritten)

Levi's POV

It wasn't until I was met with a very familiar pair of eyes that began to walk towards my table and I was then reminded of the earlier events that happened. I don't know the kids name, but he was part of the group of new students that I was giving a tour to. He and this bald guy kept talking over me no matter how many times I told them to shut the hell up.

But each time I made eye contact with him during the tour, I'd be completely mesmerized by the color of his eyes. It was such a pretty green as it reminds me of an emerald. Although his face was pretty, he was pretty damn annoying and I had to say something to him. I admit that I was pretty harsh to grab him by the collar and make my 'shove my foot up your ass' remark, but he deserved it.

It was then that I was interrupted during my thoughts from a soft voice.

"Funny seeing you..again", I looked up to my left and saw the tall boy standing sheepishly. We made eye contact for just a second until he looked away. I nodded at him as he took a seat right next to me and began looking around the classroom. Some students were talking to others, while others were just on their phones waiting for class to start. Many of the students here were a mix of all four grades, but many of them being seniors.

I could tell how uncomfortable he was just by the way he kept shifting around in his seat. It's probably because I threatened to shove my foot up his ass if he ever interrupts me again? Or maybe because he's nervous for his first day of school. Either way, I simply don't care. What I do care about, though, is finishing this school year and leaving everyone behind.

"Hey..Levi?", I turned to my left again and we were now making eye contact. It got quiet for at least thirty seconds as I just kept staring into his eyes until he started talking. But before he could open his mouth, a loud voice came running through the classroom.

"LEEEVIIIII", as the all too familiar voice was piercing through my ears which revealed the one and only..Hange. She was towering over me and all I could manage to say was 'tch', as it was way too early to be dealing with her.

"I cannot believe we're in the same class! So exciting", she sang the last part.

"Why are you even in this class? You're done with all your math credits", I replied back. It's true, Hange was able to finish all her math credits two years early because she's just that smart.

"For fun", she replied with a huge smile plastered on her face. I scoffed while rolling my eyes at her. It wasn't until she made eye contact with the boy next to me and commented on his eyes.

"Has anyone told you how prettyyyy your eyes look! I know you're new because I recognize you in Levi's group. I'm Hange, and you are?", she held her hand out to shake hands with him. He looked at her with a blush creeping onto his cheeks from Hange's earlier comment.

"Eren. Nice to meet you", he replied back while shaking Hange's hand. So, at least I got his name without having to ask.

At this point, I just wanted to get out of this hell-hole I called school. The overly-excited Hange was all over Eren, for some reason, although I know she's only trying to be his friend and nothing more. Hange never tried to pursue anything with boys.. and girls, as she said that 'boys and girls are not my thing'.

We heard a loud slam against the tables which diverted everyone's attention to the front. The room grew quiet when we saw Mr. Spencer and everyone went back to their seats. But before Hange went back to hers, she slipped a piece of paper to Eren which earned me a confused look.

"Here's my number. Text me! Let's be friends and sit together during lunch!", and with that Hange walked away to her desk.

It was Mr. Spencer's turn to talk as he took out a stack of papers. "Everyone's favorite.. lets read the class syllabus", he exclaimed while passing the paper out. Everyone groaned and sighed as they knew it was going to be a boring day.
