Chapter 2 (Rewritten)

Eren's POV

Yesterday was our last day of summer and the next day I go back to school. I did not get sleep at all. I was too excited, yet anxious, for my first day at Wings Of Freedom Academy. Sleeping was no use for me because I kept tossing and turning in bed so I was on TikTok the entire night..worst idea ever. It was 6am by the time I saw the sun rising through my gray curtains which signaled me that I should get up soon.

But I was still laying in bed. My head resting on top of my pillow while another one between my legs. I just had to stretch before getting up.. and you know that type of amazing stretch where you scream so loud? Yeah, I just had that.

I rubbed my eyes as I make my way to the kitchen to make myself a fresh cup of iced coffee. Honestly, coffee does nothing for me now so I just drink it out of enjoyment.

After making myself a cup of iced coffee, I make my way to my dining table as I scroll through TikTok some more. I never understood why people loved TikTok until I decided to download it myself and now I'm hooked. I'm not those type of people who recreate TikTok dancing trends, but I mostly love it because of the funny videos. Though, I'd say my favorite content creator is the mom with twin girls who everyone on TikTok refers to as "Scotch" and "Vodka", as well as many other names.

Suddenly I get a text from my mom, and smiled softly at her message.

"Enjoy your first day of school, Eren. You never fail to make me and dad proud of you. I love you!", to which I replied back by telling her I love her even more. It's times like this where I wish my parents we're more present in my life, but they've always made the effort to be here whenever they could.

It was 6:30am by the time I finished my coffee so I got up and put my cup in the sink before heading to my bathroom to get ready. I grabbed my toothbrush, wet it, put toothpaste, and wet it again before brushing my teeth. It always had to be in that specific order, and if anyone puts toothpaste on their toothbrush before wetting it is absolutely crazy. After that, I continued on with my skin care. I am someone who is very big on skincare and because of that my skin has always been clear. I'd cry every time I'd have a breakout.

I hopped into the shower next, turning the setting to hot and lathering a bar soap onto my loofah. I had showered the night before, so I didn't have to wash my hair since it's still clean. I washed off the soapy suds off my body, hopped out the shower, and wrap a towel around my waist.

My uniform was steamed and ironed the night before so it was just hanging in my closet. Thank god we have uniforms because I would take 30 minutes trying to find an outfit to school. This made it easier to get ready, and not be late for class.

I dried myself off before putting on my boxers. My legs slipped into the khaki pants, and put on the white short-sleeve over my body as I buttoned it up and tucking it into my pants. Finishing touches was a white and blue tie that I would wear around my collar, and then slipped on my white vans.

I stood in front of my mirror to make sure I look good, dusting off the invisible lint and straightening any wrinkles. Sheesh, do I look sexy. I thought to myself until I got a sudden call from Mikasa.

"We're out, hurry", after she hung up she began beeping her horn. For every new student attending Wings of Freedom Academy, they had to go through orientation on the first day and that's exactly what we're going today. It was already 7:15am and the drive is at least 30 minutes long so I grabbed my school bag, charger, and phone before heading out the door.

I was greeted with a black BMW that Mikasa was gifted during her 16th birthday. Both her parents are doctors, so it's no surprise that she is the boujiest, and I mean boujiest, person I've ever met. I see Armin sitting the front waving at me to hurry up.

"Are you guys excited? I did not get any sleep at all", I asked as I got into the back seat of the car. Both Mikasa and Armin nodded their head before speeding away from my house.

30 minutes passed and we were finally met with 2 large gates. The three of us underestimated how big this campus was and we only had 5 minutes to find parking. Luckily, Mikasa already had a reserved parking spot and we had parked in no time.

"We need to hurry to the office! We're suppose to meet with our tour guides!", Armin exclaimed. He was way too excited by the way he opens the passenger door and practically tripped on his way out.

"Hopefully we're all in the same group for our tour guide", Mikasa said as we all grabbed our bags out of the car. We started speed walking to the direction of the office since that's where everyone is meeting.

When we got to the office, there was a small group of students that were gathered outside. Assuming they were the new students, there's was only 15 of us waiting. I imagined there was going to be more people but I guess not. Mikasa, Armin, and I checked our names on the roster to see who our tour guides were.

"Who's your tour guide?", Mikasa asked,

"Um..someone named Levi", I answered.

"Mines is Erwin!", Armin said while taking a big sip of water from his bottle. He was definitely eager to start touring the campus.

"Mm, I have Hange", so we were all separated. But we can always text each other after we're done with our orientation.

Next thing you know, the office door slams wide open and we were met with our principle

"Good morning everyone! I am principle Pyxis. So glad to see new faces around school, but I do not want to keep you guys long as you're suppose to be with your tour guides right now. So please, here they are".

A girl with mocha hair spoke first. It was tied into a high pony tail, while a pair of square framed glasses was sitting on her nose bridge. Her voice filled with so much enthusiasm as she introduced herself.

"My names Hange! So excited to meet every single one of you while we have the opportunity to be your amazing tour guides. Here are my two other partners, Erwin and Levi as we all help you guys get familiar with our campus", Hanji smirked to herself while gesturing her hand to Erwin and Levi.

I glanced at Mikasa and Armin but their attention was towards the front. "The names Erwin. Glad to meet you", he smiled softly. He looks like he works out by the way he looks buff as hell. Not to mention the thick ass eyebrows he has, not in a bad way because some people wish they had eyebrows like his.

"I'm Levi", the short man was the last to introduce himself. He had a short raven hair cut into an undercut. His hands in his pocket as he introduced himself. He had no expression whatsoever, and he's my tour guide? How is this going to be a fun orientation when I have the most nonchalant tour guide ever.

"AND the class president! Levi, do not leave that out", Hange chimed in. He's the class president? How can someone who sounds so bored, looks emotionless, and sounds rude be the class president?

After what seemed like hours of Hange babbling, the students around us grew uncomfortable until Erwin told her it was time to get things going.

"Ahh, sorry I was rambling. Everyone please get to your groups, the show is about to start", Hange said in a sing-song voice. I really liked her, she's very enthusiastic and shows clearly that she's excited unlike Levi who just stood there. Before getting into our groups, Armin, Mikasa, and I said our quick goodbyes before meeting up again.

As I turned around, I accidentally bumped into someone. As someone who is clumsy, I immediately apologized before a pair of silver eyes met mine. It was Levi.

"Watch it", he rolled his eyes at me. Did I mention that he was rude? He's a sassy rude.

This should be fun. I sighed to myself as I was stuck touring the campus with the most ignorant man ever.

Chapter 2!! Definitely going slow with this chapter, but hopefully not too slow! After rereading the original story, I noticed how many of you guys commented how fast Levi and Eren's relationship was going. So, I took note of that and I'm making sure that we don't jump into things too quickly.
