Chapter 1

EREN'S P.o.V

It's been a week since school has ended and I was happy about our summer break. I'm currently with my two best friends, Armin and Mikasa, as we both excitedly open our mail.

We all applied for Wings of Freedom Academy, one of the Top 3 private schools in America. We all thought about applying after our junior year at Sina High so we could have a better shot for our future.

" YES !!! I GOT IN ", Armin shouted out while jumping out of his chair and continued to freak out. Of course, Mikasa and I knew he was going to get in since he's such a smart little coconut.

I read over my letter while a big smile crept onto my face and hugged Armin while jumping around. Mikasa later joined us as we all started to scream together and hug each other.

Honestly, I was so happy all three of us got in because we're all inseparable. We have been friends since elementary, and I couldn't have asked for better.

Not to mention that they were at my house and we all decided to celebrate by ordering pizza and watching a movie.

" Alright guys ", I clapped my hands together. " What do you guys wanna watch on Netflix ? Moana, Orphan, or-", I was suddenly cut off when Armin and Mikasa shouted that we should watch Moana.

We ordered the pizza not too long ago so we decided to start the movie till our food has arrived.

" I'VE BEEN STARING AT THE EDGE OF THE WATER, LONG AS I COULD REMEMBER ", us three started to sing along with Moana as we ate our pizza.

I loved days like this where we all hung out at each other's houses, watch a movie & eat food while doing more crazy stuff. I am blessed, I thought to myself.

The movie has finally ended with Mikasa and Armin falling asleep on the couch. It was around 10 p.m, so it was kinda getting late and I decided to get ready for bed. I didn't mind Mikasa and Armin sleeping over since my parents are barely home due to work. I also enjoy their company since this house does get lonely sometimes.

I took out an air mattress I had in my closet and put it in my living room for Mikasa since her and Armin are basically squished together. I slowly lifted Mikasa up and placed her gently onto the bed being careful not to wake her up. I grab a pillow and lifted her head up to put under it, and draped a blanket over her body.

I quietly walk back into my room and took my shirt off and changed into pajamas. I climb into bed and snuggled up under my blanket. I couldn't stop smiling due to the fact that I got into Wings of Freedom Academy and I was excited.

I hope my senior year at Wings of Freedom Academy won't be as bad, I thought to myself as I fell asleep.
