Jaxon Gaspar, you're nothing more than a fraud. I never thought the words I heard would've come out of your mouth, you the person who since kindergarten promised Annabeth was the only girl you wanted around, you the jerk who fought whoever spoke trash about Annabeth. Jaxon Gaspar, you became what you hated most. I'm relieved that Andrey stopped me because I'm sure I would've caused a tragedy.

"What were you thinking when you decided to fight each other, huh?" asked the principal. "At least the only ones that saw your fight were Miss Castillo and Mr. Petrovoc, both of them are discreet. I won't suspend you due to the football games coming up and the fact that we can't lose the trophy. However, both of you won't leave my office until you have fixed your differences, is that understood?". "Yes sir," we both say at the same time. Four hours of my time was wasted staring at the newest member of my hate list, Jaxon. My hate list is something I came up with when I was eight, it's a list in my mind where all the people who I have negative feelings towards automatically go to. I don't think I have lived long enough to affirm that someone who's been on my hate list has been eliminated. So far whoever gets inscribed on it, stays inscribed. The first on the list was my father, he cut my wings and stomped on my childhood dreams. I still remember the harsh words he gave me as an eight-year-old at the time, "A BREAKDANCER?!? Do you know how mediocre that sounds?!? What are people going to say when they see what you want to grow up to be?!? Listen to me Aaron forget about that dream of yours! Is that clear?!?". The second name on my list was my mother's name, she always had something better to do other than spend time with me. Going to dinner with her friends (if that's what you can call that brood of serpents looking for the right place to spread their venom) was always better than being there to hear my problems. There's a total of 4 people on my list:

My father (Marcus Lee)

My mother (Joanna Lee)

Lexie Frost (The only girl who I let into my heart, and the one who shattered it)

Jaxon Gaspar (My ex-best friend)

Four people I have decided to ignore and hate. "Aaron." I hear someone say. I look up and see Selena looking down at me with a crease on her forehead. "You'll get wrinkles in your forehead if you keep frowning like that, you know," I say to her. "Ha Ha, really funny," she says sarcastically. "What you did today to defend Ananbeth's honor I appreciate it. I guess you do know what a friendship involves after all." "Wait, does that mean what I think it means?" I ask, clearly shocked and confused. "Yes Aaron that means I'll help you gain Annabeth's trust again," she says with a frustrated look on her face. "Wow...I thought it was going to be harder," I mentioned to her with a smile on my face. I finally got some good news today. "Don't get me wrong Aaron. My objective was to make your life miserable until I felt like it. However Annabeth misses both you and that jerk you made a punching bag today and I'm not such a cold heart to make her suffer too," she says and I could tell she was being sincere. "I'll give you one chance, however. That's it. Please don't ruin it because I'm not the kind of person who gives second chances. Meet me today in the public library down Main street at 5:30," she says before leaving. I can't help but smile. I finally have a chance to get my friend back.

"A punctual person I like it," I hear a voice, I'm starting to recognize, say behind me. "What's up with you appearing out of nowhere," I say with a frown. "The advantages of not being someone who draws attention makes you invisible," she says with a shrug. "Why am I here?" I ask. "We have half an hour before our shift begins and she gets here so I'll be quick," she answers me. "She? Who is she?" I ask, now more confused than before. "Annabeth, who else would it be nitwit," she says looking frustrated. Two things I have noticed about Selena: she has zero patience and she has a high intellect. "Look I have already warned you I don't want to see Annabeth crying because of you and your ineptitude. Therefore I recommend you to do the following: maintain your friendship with that angel away from your social life full of serpents ready to poison her. In other words, I do not expect you to stop talking to Jaxon and break up with Amber, however, they have left it clear they want to make her life miserable so try keeping her away from them when you're around. She'll be coming in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, you can take a seat in that back corner over there," she says pointing to some colorful chairs. "Ok, thank you for the opportunity," I say while turning around and she's gone.
