Breaking through the facade she held up so long.

Kracking open and breaking.

Breaking her body and being.

A million thoughts running in her mind and distracting her from the pain her body felt.

Never has a feeling spread in her body so intensely.

Inside she was burning up but shivering on the outside.

Shivering from the steaming hot tears running down her cheeks.

They were the only thing able to represent that heat in the moment.

Those pitch black tears painting her cheeks, she despised them.

Despised them as much as herself.

She still couldn't accept it as a part of her, but right now she was forced to.

Forced to acknowledge that inside of her she was taught was wrong.

She was breaking.

Cracking.

Those cracks showing like veins on her skin.

White and blinding.

Almost pure looking.

How ironic, since she was anything but that.

Still, she kept holding onto that lie.

That lie of a life she'd been living all those years.

That lie she said would protect everyone.

But now it was all broken.

Like her, shattered.

Shattered in the pieces of a broken mirror.

The mirror they all saw themselves in, torn apart into seams.

But they didn't mind, they didn't know it any other way.

They didn't know how people lived, so perfect and without flaw.

They craved the feeling of being broken.

That deep inner loneliness they've all learned to embrace.

The loneliness they learned to love like their fractured selves.

It was all coming together.
