I've been on the phone and online for almost two hours now trying to find a place for the 2 of them and I'm really getting desperate. I don't want this to be the thing that stop him from staying longer.
"Hello? Right yes thanks for calling back. I saw your house over in Mt Lachi and I see you got a theatre room in there. I suppose that's sound proof and.. oh I see. It's still being renovated." My heart sank. This is the last place on my list. It had a note on it that it's under renovation but that was 3 months ago so I thought maybe it's all done.
"Well it's liveable but we haven't fully furnished it. And the theatre door is not coming up until Thursday." I guess that's fine. They check out on Wednesday from the hotel so he'll only be out of a "studio" for a day. "What do you need a soundproof room though?"
"Oh my client will be working so needs that quiet space."
"Well there's the granny flat. We haven't renovated that. It still has access to the main house but tucked away from it so if they need peace and quiet they can use that space if they can wait for a week to get started on work." He chuckled. "Who wants to work while in this part of town?"
Someone who wants to keep his obligations at work and still spend time with me.
"That's great that's an option. I'll bring this up with my client and let you know.."
I called up Yoongi and sent him photos of the place that the owner sent me. He's fine with it not being furnished as long as there's a place for him to sleep and work he said. The owner confirmed they will at least do up the bedrooms and stock up the kitchen with cutlery, pots and stuff. We need to bring our own supplies though.
I drove up to the house to check it out a day before they move in. It's a bit of a drive from my place. Its gonna take a lot from me to get up in the morning and drive up then back home. But just thinking about this precious limited time with Yoongi, I suppose it's worthwhile.
The house looks massive on the outside but it's really just 2 bedrooms: the master's bedroom has an ensuite and a spa bath with the stunning view of the snow capped mountains. Imagine soaking in it while drinking champagne. The other bedroom which is on the other end of the house is decent sized and with ensuite as well. There's also a powder room for common use and a small theatre room. The doors have been put up already to my surprise but still can't be used for two more days. The kitchen/dining and living opens up to the backyard with a view of Mt Lachi. The granny flat can be accessed via the kitchen.
The owner has put in a couch, coffee table, and dining set which are too tiny for the space. I appreciated the effort though. They also hang up some artworks in the living area. The owner's son is apparently a local artist and they usually have his work displayed and the guests can buy them if they want. The kitchen is gorgeous with the granite countertop against the dark wood cabinets. The interior is in midton grey and has a concrete finish to some of the areas that adds drama against its backdrop of snow capped mountains. All in all the house has a masculine vibe to it and I don't think Yoongi will feel out of place here. I can definitely see him living here.
I walked towards the granny flat and check out if it's good for Yoongi to work here while we wait for the doors to be ready. I opened the door to it and it's a world away from the main house. It has the original design of the house which is a cottage/cabin vibe to it. As I entered the room, which is what it is, essentially a studio unit/room, I'm welcomed by a cozy 2 seater couch facing a wood log fire place. This fits right in compared to the one in the main house. There's a wooden slat divider that defines the living room from the bedroom. I can see the queen sized bed through the slats, neatly made and a stacked with pillows. There's a kitchenette in the corner and the shower/toilet in the other corner where the bed is. There is no room for Yoongi to work here. It's very charming though. And romantic.
I left some food in the fridge just enough for a couple of days and I might just shop for the two men. I know Yoongi cooks so he might want to do his own grocery shopping unless he doesn't have any time for it. I'm willing to do some shopping for them. Otherwise, it will be take away for the next two weeks or instant noodles.

Chris picked up Minho and Junsu to drop them off at the airport while I drove Yoongi and Junho to the air bnb.
"Here we are. Home sweet home for the next two weeks." I gave them a quick tour of the house leaving out the granny flat. I can tell Yoongi loved the kitchen. He checked out the cupboards again to see what's in it like a surgeon preparing for his operating tools.
"I left some food in the fridge for you guys tonight or just Ubereats if you want. I'll see you in the morning."
Junho's already surveying the grounds and surrounding checking the locks and entryways leaving me and Yoongi in the bare kitchen.
"You're heading out already?" His face concerned and disappointed.
"Yeah it's a bit of a drive up here and it's starting to get dark on the road now since it's almost winter. But I'll see you in the morning to help you with your stuff." I've become his sort of an assistant now with his meetings and preparing documents.
"Good night." I wanted to kiss him but I really don't have the excuse to do so. I haven't had alcohol in me. He walked me to the front door and waved good bye.
8:30pm
Bzzz. Bzzzz.
My boss. It's never good when she texts/calls me.
Olivia: Hey got a request to change the agreement for your client Park Minho and co. Is this all ok?
Ellie: Ah yes I put that in. They moved to an Air Bnb and it's just Min Yoongi now and 1 security. His manager Park Minho left early together with another security.
Olivia: No the request was made by Park Minho. They need someone 24/7 in their accomodation. They said it's a little farther away from town so they need a driver/assistant on site, and translator. I suppose they don't need a translator 24/7 but they definitely need a driver/assistant. I'd put Chris on but he's already booked in and Liana's still on her honeymoon. Can you poss take this? You'll be paid for both times.
Me staying where Yoongi eats, works and sleeps. A million things flashed before my eyes, various scenarios and imagery and not all of them wholesome to be honest. Just thinking about him getting out of the shower that one time and us goofing around in the kitchen.. My god the chills and tingles.. She doesn't even have to pay me..
Ellie: Sure no probs. It'll make it easier for me instead of driving back and forth.
Olivia: Done. I'll confirm with them. It's still afternoon in Korea so be sure you're there tomorrow with your things.
Wow. I guess we will definitely get to spend more time. What a time to be alive.
