Sonadow: Idol in Highschool

Chapter 12

Shadow POV:
Ugh... after having a movie marathon and eating all that junk food, when I woke up everything kinda hurt. Anyways, as I got up and went to the guests bathroom, I heard sounds coming from Sonic's room. I won't lie, I was kinda curious so silently, I walked over to her door and heard music coming from the other side. She was also singing too but it was in Japanese, I could tell cuz I used to study the language in school. I couldn't make out most of the words though but she still sounded cool. Suddenly, all the music stops and she begins to approach the door. Quickly, I try to act like as if I was just passing by. Sonic opens the door and sees me and grabs my arm.
Sonic: hey Shadz! Good morning! Are you getting something to eat?
Shadow: uhh yeah. We need to get ready though for school since it's Friday.
Sonic: huh? Wait isn't it still Thursday?
Shadow: no??? Sonic its 6:30 am. We need to get ready if we don't wanna be late.
Sonic seemed like she was gonna faint. She seems out of it too and suddenly, she started to fall down. I quickly grab her before she fell and I can feel her trembling.
Sonic: D-Damnit... heh I did it again huh...?
Sonic starts to laugh a little nervously and I try to get her to stand up again.
Shadow: Sonic? Are you okay?
Sonic nods and puts a hand on her head while laughing a little. It was kinda creepy cuz she had a weird smile on her face. She looks at me suddenly and I won't lie when I jumped back a little when she looked at me.
Sonic: Sorry... seems like I pulled another all-nighter again... I haven't slept at alllll... and now Im getting it...
Sonic begins to walk back into her room slowly. She turns around holding the door and looks at me.
Sonic: I'll...*yawn* get ready... I won't be missing another day...
Sonic closes the door slowly and I just stand there still confused. I shake it off and go to the guests bathroom to get ready myself.

Downstairs, I make breakfast for me and Sonic. She's taking longer than I thought... should she really be going? She seemed pretty tired and unable to do much. I keep thinking about sonic until I hear footsteps walking towards the kitchen I see Sonic there and her hair looks messy. She seems to be wearing a simple oversized hoody with shorts on. Her eyes look really tired and her overall look just screams tired. Sonic wobbles over to a seat and looks at me with a tired smile.
Sonic: Hey Shadz... I'm ready...*yawn* hey did you make breakfast?...sweet...
Sonic starts spinning around the chair while saying nonsense. I serve her breakfast and she stops and gives me a happy face while slowly eating the food. I serve myself breakfast and sit next to her while she's just concentrated on the food. It's a quiet breakfast but we eat quickly enough and get out backpacks to go to school. Since we both run fast, we were just gonna run over the school.
Sonic: okay... I can run shadow don't worry...*yawn* less goo...
Sonic begins to run but immediately trips and falls on the floor. I sigh walking over to her and looking at her poorly trying to get up.
Sonic: I can do thisss. Juss wait a ssex..sex...?hehe sec
Shadow: are you sure you wanna go to school? You seem pretty tired.
Sonic: uhhhhhhh....yeah???? I mean...i cant misss...TWO dayss of school...*yawn* I got this juss lemme stand up....*falls*
I chuckle a little and then pick sonic up and carry her on my back.
Shadow: fine but I'll carry you over to school. Hold tight.
I feel Sonic's arms cross my neck and I begin to run. While on our way to school, sonic starts playing with my hair. It makes me blush a little but I keep going.
-At school-
We get to school on time and Sonic falls off my back. I quickly turn around worried that she might've hurt herself. Sonic seems to be laughing about it and gets up slowly. She then looks at me and grabs her backpack from me. Gleefully, she grabs my arm and with a tired look on her face, drags me to class with her since we have the same classes.
While walking through the hallway, I notice all the frangirls staring at us again like last time. I just give them all death stares as Sonic keeps dragging me to class while telling me about random things not realizing the number of people glaring at her.
-at class-
We enter our first class and she signals me to sit with her. I gladly accept as it lets me watch over her since she's so tired. I then get thrown a small piece of paper and look angrily at who threw it. I look and see it was from Scourge and Rouge is making faces at me while grinning. I blush and give them a death glare while they keep on laughing at me.
Teacher: okay class. Open to page 79 on your textbooks.
I open my text book to the page and look over at Sonic opening her super slowly. I help her and she smiles at me a little while looking at the teacher. Minutes pass and Sonic's almost about to pass out sleeping. We're sitting at the back so Sonic could get away with this since The teacher can't really see us from here. After a while, Sonic falls asleep and I to cover for her as best as I can.

Teacher: okay class. Now answer this question, what was the purpose for him doing that? No one? Okay so I'll just call ok names then. Sonic?

Shit....She immediately wakes up though looking blankly at the teacher confused over what she was called for.

Sonic: Uhhh what?

Teacher: what was the purpose of him doing that?

I nudge sonic and hand her a note with the answer written on it. She looks at it and immediately responds with the answer.

Teacher: Good sonic. Now because of this being his reason for such actions....

Sonic then goes back to sleep. She looks so peaceful and I can't help but watch her.

-End of class-

Since I have most classes with her. Sonic will be fine today. Going to our next class, we're stopped by both of our friend groups. Sonic's friends circle around her worriedly asking her why she wasn't here yesterday. Sonic's tiredly giving them small answers while yawning a lot.

Rouge: Hey Shadow. So what were you up to yesterday after school? Meph told us you never went home...

Mephiles: Yeah you never came home yesterday. Where were you?

Shadow: *blushing* I was at Sonic's place...

Rouge and Scourge begin to laugh a lot and smile at me while jumping.

Rouge: I KNEW IT!!! now... did you f-

Shadow:NO ROUGE ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!

Everyone in the hallways starts looking at me.

Shadow: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!?

Everyone immediately continues on and I look back at Rouge angry.

Shadow: anyways... no. All I did was help her with homework and we did a movie marathon.

Scourge: mmmm... I don't buy it.

Shadow: what??? How???

Scourge: look at her. She's so tired and you're just fine. Something must've happened after all that...

Rouge: And we know just what it is...

Shadow: no. I stayed at her guest room and slept. When I woke up she was still awake. She said she accidentally pulled another all-nighter and she didn't even know what time it was. She almost fainted when I told her the time. Also, she wasn't here yesterday cuz of the same thing.

Rouge: hmmm...okay we believe you this time.

Scourge: Yeah but next time just know that there's no stopping us from imagining the worst *smirks*

I glare at both of them until I feel something pulling my sleeve. I look around and see Sonic and immediately she starts pulling me towards our next class.

Sonic: We're gonna be lateeeee... loserssss see ya laters...*winks*

I look back and see everyone with either confused faces or smirks. Sonic continues to drag me to the next class and I blush a little.
