After that epic sleepover, Sonic and Shadow's feelings for each other began to grow more and more. Now, they hang out in secret in the music room making sure no one knows about it. The fangirls believed that Shadow had no interest in Sonic now that it has been a week. Now it's 1 week before Shadow and Mephiles' birthday party. Most of the well-known kids were invited as they mostly have good relationships with them. Sally somehow got in but that was after days of her begging him to invite her. Shadow just did it so that she could shut up. Shadow didn't really care about the number of people going, he was actually planning on how to be with Sonic for the entire party. Shadow still isn't sure if it's time to ask her the big question but when's the right time?

Shadow POV:
Damn 1 more week and it'll be our birthday. Everyone at school is asking me and Meph if they can go. We're  ignoring them all. This time of the month is so hard for me to be alone. I haven't been able to be with Sonic in the music room at all because of this. *phone vibrates* Hm? *pulls up phone*

Sonic: Yo Shadz! Let's hang out in the music room today! \(^v^)/

*sigh* I wish I could...

Shadow: Sorry sonic I can't everyone's gonna find out where I go and we won't be able to hang out there ever. Just wait till the end of the month. Promise.

I felt so guilty sending that. I wish this school could leave me alone for once.

Sonic: That's cool

Sonic: Oh! What if we hung out at my place! We can totally play music there. 〜(^∇^〜）

Sonic: and we can also play some games while we're at it too

Sonic: how about it?

Shadow: Sound's great. I'll see you in class

Sonic: don't be late >:{

I chuckle a little at the text. Idk why she's always typing faces, but it's so cute.

Sally: What'chu laughing at Shadzy?

Sally's trying to peek at our chat. I turn off my phone before she sees anything.

Shadow: Sally fuck off. None of your business.

Sally: Oh I bet it's a girl. Ha! She's nothing compared to me!

Shadow:...

I speed up and rush to class, Sally tries to keep up but thanks to those heels of hers, she can't catch up. I enter the classroom and see Sonic talking to that Silver guy. Actually, I remember my brother Meph talking about him. hmmm... maybe he has a thing for him? idk. maybe I can annoy him about it later.

I sit down next to Sonic's desk and she looks at me with the cutest smile ever.

Sonic: Haha! You're not late for once!

Shadow: heh, I tried not to. *wink*

Sonic: Hmmm... Yo Shadow, what do you like?

Shadow: yo-*covers mouth*

WTF SHADOW YOU ALMOST BLEW YOUR COVER!

Shadow: yo-kai watch?

Sonic: really? but I thought you hated pokemon. You do know yo-kai watch is VERY similar to pokemon. What do you really like?

phew! that was a close call...

Shadow: haha you got me! I don't mind Sonic. You don't have to bring me a gift.

Sonic: Bruh, you can't just NOT have a gift on your birthday! Fine! I'll find out, just wait until I bring you the BEST  gift ever!

But just seeing you makes me happy already...

I plan on confessing to Sonic at the party. I told Mephiles since he's always been my partner in crime. He said he'll help but idk he's just one guy. The whole class, I was thinking about how to do it now that the party's coming up.

*lunchtime*

I walk over to my group and see Rouge grinning at me.

Shadow: why are you looking at me like that?

Rouge: Ur twin told me everything~

God damnit. I glare at meph and he immediately jumps to defend himself.

Mephiles: I swear! She forced me to tell! You know how she gets when she wants to know something.

Rouge: mhmm... well anyways, I'll help you too! And Scrouge is also helping.

Scrouge: Yep! I know Sonic well enough too. You NEED me! *smirks*

Shadow: *sigh* okay... but you guys better not fuck this up.

Rouge: Oh trust me hun, we won't. Anyways, we'll help make sure nothing can interrupt your guys' moment...

I blush red and flip her off. This is so embarrassing.
