Hold On

I woke up slightly sore and with scratch marks on my back I ran my hand along one of the marks and winced at the sting of pain I looked to my side to see a still naked Nova sleeping next to me. I looked around and realised that the two of us were the only ones in the room and it looks like neither Holly nor Audrey came back last night I wonder where they slept. I slipped out of the bed careful not to wake Nova and put on anything but what I was wearing last night before heading to the kitchen for some food. Not feeling particularly hungry I settled for some Belvita that I found in the cupboard and then sat on the sofa in the main room and waited for the others to arrive.

Holly was the first.

"Hey there look who finally showed up," I said.

"Nice try other you and Nova I know I'm the first one back," Holly said.

"Yeah about that back from where exactly," I said.

"Well I spent the night with a certain somebody we didn't sleep together but we did share a bed," Holly said.

"Fuck no way really," I said.

"Yep you will not believe how big the beds for teachers are Cat's bed is easily a double king-size," Holly said.

"Damn wish I had a bed that size did you spend the night in close proximity at least," I said.

"Ohh I am the spooning master," Holly said sending the two of us into a fit of laughter.

Audrey was the second.

"Welcome home wanna tell us where you spent the night," I said.

Audrey just stood there and blushed looking down.

"Come and take a seat, tell us where you were," Holly said patting the sofa.

Audrey took a seat in the middle and took out her pad.

"I was having a good time with Serah and then when the party began to dwindle she asked if I wanted to stay over at hers and I did but had to ask if it was okay and it was," I said reading out what Audrey had written down.

"So you just spent the night nothing more," I said and Aurdy shoved me as if to say no.

Nova was the last thankfully dressed.

"Morning nerds," Nova said.

"Morning beautiful," I said back as she headed or the kitchen.

"You too," Nova said with a wink.

"Oh, so you two are calling each other beautiful now when's the wedding" Holly joked.

"Shut up," I said giving her a shove.

Audrey then wrote something down.

"I think you two would make a lovely married couple" Holly readout.

"Not you too," I said flopping onto my side.

"Hey so I've been thinking we should do something fun today," Nova said as she returned with a bowl of cheerios.

"Oh yeah you got something in mind," Holly said.

"What's the one thing that looks hot on a girl to other girls?" Nova said.

"Less clothing" Holly said.

"Tattoos," Nova said.

My eyes lit up when Nova suggested tattoos I remembered how I had always wanted one but my mum was highly against it saying that boys don't like a girl with tattoos but that didn't matter to me. Holly was a little taken aback by this idea and seemed unsure at the prospect of getting a tattoo but after seeing the look of anticipation on Nova's face she agreed as long as it was small. Audrey had a look of confusion on her face somehow the girl had never heard of a tattoo before and didn't even know what one was Nova gave her a small description and she looked excited.

"Great so we're getting a tattoo so let's go," Nova said.

"Slow down there Vin Diesel I want to at least have a shower before I leave," I said as I kissed her on the cheek and headed for the bathroom.

"And we need to change out of last night's clothes," Holly said as she and Audrey headed for the bedroom.

"Fine but do hurry up," Nova said.

We all caught the first bus that came along at took it until Nova told us to get off since she was the only one who knew where the tattoo parlour was we got to and it looked a lot more inviting than I had expected. The interior wasn't half bad either we walked up to the front desk and Nova hit the bell and a man appeared from the side from behind a doorway with beads on a string rather than a door.

"Welcome ladies how may I be of service," He said.

"We're here to get inked," Nova said.

"You've come to the right place follow me," He said and we followed him through the beads to a completely different room.

"Nice place," Nova said.

"Thank you I do try so feel free to browse the walls and books for the designs we have on offer and once you have discided let me know what you want and where I'll just be over here by the chairs readying the equipment," He said taking a seat by one of the chairs.

We looked over the designs on the wall none of those really appealed to me but I did find one in one of the books that I liked it was a Wolf but it did work with my personality. Nova found a cool looking crow she said it showed that she was not only free but still able to disappear in the dark night and able to reappear beautifully in the light. What really surprised me was that Audry picked out a sleeve it was full of flowers it was beautiful but the fact that it was a sleeve was what surprised me the most about it. Holly found a nice little one that she was okay with getting in colour but was afraid that the pain would be too much we had our designs and where we wanted them, time to get inked.

"Ahhh you ladies ready," The guy said as we approached.

"Ready and waiting," Nova said making it clear she was first.

"As you wish just take a seat your friends can hang around and enjoy themselves," He said as Nova took her seat.

We all took our time talking about what we were going to do when we got back Nova's tattoo took a little over 40 minutes and I was next and mine took an hour but it was so worth it. Audrey was told the info about how painful it would be but still went through with it making me realise just how mentally strong she is and the finished products were incredible. Finally, it was Holly's turn for her it was quick and easy but she still didn't like the pian that she had to go through.
