It was Thursday and the boys had left on Wednesday so me and Nova could finally return to classes it was lunch and we were soon getting yelled at by Holly so we joined them.

"Hey you two welcome back," Holly said.

"Good to be back," I said.

"Yeah sure," Nova said.

"Hey so I was wondering whether I should ask this or not but I guess I need to so did any of the guys try anything with you," I asked.

"No, as it turns out they kind of just stuck with their partner for the day and just sorta alienated us," Holly said while Audrey nodded in agreement.

"Really," I said.

"Yeah since they had to stay on the boy's side of the school we hardly saw them anyway," Holly said.

"Makes sense," I said.

"What about the teachers they any different," Nova said.

"Very," Holly said.

"How so," I said.

"Well poor Audrey here was almost in tears thanks to one of them practically grilling her and with her not being able to speak it was hard to handle thankfully I saw what was happening and told him to piss off before he actually made her cry," Holly said.

"As expected of a man," Nova said.

"I hope I'm not out of line asking but I really hope your hatred of men isn't just because you don't like them," Holly said.

"Well she told me why she hates them and I can't tell you what she told me because well she told me not to but I can tell you that her hatred of men is well-founded," I said.

"Fair enough," Holly said as a boy stood and walked to us.

"Hi uhh sorry but is your name Abigail," He said his voice was quiet and shaky it was strangely familiar.

"It is," I said.

"You don't remember, guess that's to be expected we only met a few times back in freshman year it's me, Kagan," He said pointing at himself looking really nervous So Familiar.

"Kagan, Kagan, Kagan... OH SHIT KAGAN, Kagan Shitoy" I said and he smiled.

"You know him," Nova said.

"Easy tigress he's harmless," I said.

"We'll see," Nova said glaring at him but I brushed it off.

"So Kagan been a while what happened to you," I said.

"Well I got outed to my parents and they didn't like that so they carted me off here," Kagan said.

"Damn that's some rotten luck but on the bright side they sent you here right," Holly said.

"Yeah things have been better after being sent here but the first time they sent me to a real gay conversion camp," Kagan said.

Audrey shoved a pad in Kagan's face and he looked at it.

"What does it say?" I asked.

"I hope that it wasn't too hard for you," Kagan said.

"Yeah it must not have been easy in that kind of environment," I said.

"Well it sure as hell didn't help with my anxiety," Kagan said making Nova raise an eyebrow.

"Okay students if you could all take a seat I have a small announcement to make," Said the head before any of us could get another word in.

"Well see ya," Kagan said as he waved and hurried off to his table.

"Now I know that for some of you the time we spent with our visitors was hard but I would like to thank you all for giving them no reason to suspect us so as a show of my gratitude I will be allowing you over this weekend to leave these walls and explore the surrounding town you will be split into groups with your roommates and will be assigned a teacher please stay close to your teacher and don't stray from your team that is all thank you," He said and a bunch of kids cheered.

"He's taking us all into town," I said.

"Looks like it," Nova said.

"Well guess it's a good thing I grabbed my debit card before my mum carted me off here," I said.

"Same here," Nova said with a smile.

"Ditto," Holly said.

Audrey began righting in her pad before showing it to us.

"I don't have any money my farther said that I might use it to run away one day" Nova readout.

"Don't sweat it Audrey my dad may not have liked me very much but he was filthy rich and left me quite a lot in his will also my mum can't get her hands on any of it," I said.

Later I was in my first special class and I was with Nova she said that she had taken this class as she needed something to put in that space and saw how interested I seemed in it. As it turns out this class was optional to turn up to but there were still a few of us here as we waited for the teacher when she did arrive she told us this class did not require us to take notes as it was just to give those of that needed it some form of closure. The class was called LGBTQ+ in the Bible and with my home life closure on this was going to be like some kind of hardcore therapy which I was in desperate need of. All in all the class was fun and I was learning a bunch of stuff that if I told my mum and that sad excuse for a human she calls a husband any of it they would have nothing to use against me.

"That class was great I can't believe that if you really look at Bibel you can really find all this stuff that is in support of gays," I said as a flipped through the notes I took planning to use them on my parents.

"I was a little bored," Nova said.

"Oh, boo-hoo just cause you hate studying," I said as we walked down the halls back to the room.

"Maybe," Nova said.

"Right so stop telling me not to," I said putting my notebook away.

"Hey can I ask you something," Nova said.

"Sure tho I may choose not to answer you," I said with a smug smile.

"Are you planning on finding love here at this school," Nova said.

"Yeah I mean I plan to," I said.

Nova then stopped dead in her tracks I soon realised and looked back at her she looked like she was about to cry but she had the hint of a smile on her face. I asked what was wrong taking a step closer to her she didn't say anything just stood there I took another step closer and she grabbed my arm and pulled me in for a kiss. I was in shock but soon as I regained my head I was happy the kiss was so soft and gentle and I kissed back as I put my hand around her neck kissing a girl for the first time without fear of anyone that might see thinking it was wrong. I was so happy.
