Lilystar's Demise

Prologue

Lilystar kept running until she ran out of breath, she sat down panting, "Honeydew!" she called out for her deputy. Her scent hit the back of her throat as a fox growling came up ahead. "Lilystar! Help!" Honeydew's voice came from afar. Lilystar caught sight of her and the Fox, Lilystar slowed as she got closer. "You will not kill my clan!" Lilystar said lunging forward and attacking the fox. A hiss came from Honeydew as the Foxes jaw dug deeper into her Honey colored flank. Lilystar finally got her teeth into the foxes flank making the fox yelp. Lilystar caught the taste of blood before the fox bit her muzzle and broke free.

The fox made it's way toward Thunderpath. "No! Lilystar! A monster is coming! Don't!" Honeydew's voice came out of no where, Lilystar looked behind her and back at Thunderpath and sure enough a monster came out of no where and Lilystar skidded to a stop right as the monster hit the fox which let out a yowl. Another fox came out of no where and attacked Lilystar. Lilystar didn't know what to do but to push the fox but before she could do anything Honeydew attacked the fox releasing Lilystar, "Honeydew! get off Thunderpath" Lilystar hissed as Honeydew got off of Thunderpath. The fox came back on land, "I wanted to have a reasonable talk with Thunderclan! but this happened!" Lilystar hissed pushing the fox onto Thunderpath. "Lilystar!" Honeydew hissed as the roaring of a Monster came. Lilystar pushed the injured fox a side and ran as fast as she could, but she was too late. Lilystar jumped as the Monster hit her, making her roll onto the grass. "Lilystar!" Honeydew freaked out running to Lilystar. "Please don't leave Lilystar..." Honeydew said her eyes filled with tears. "Honeydew..." Lilystar started. "Take care of the clan for me... pick a strong and loyal deputy" Lilystar said before closing her eyes. "Tell Riverclan I said bye" She said one more time before saying nothing.
