Lilystar's Demise

Chapter 8

Lilystream was watching for fish while she groomed herself next to a river that separated Riverclan borders from Windclan borders. The water rippled, was a fish near the surface? Lilystream looked but what she saw was not what she wanted to see a Windclan warrior was drinking water from the river. Lilystream was raged with anger, he was going to scare off the fish! Lilystream ran over to where he was and hissed at him, "You're going to scare off the fish!" Lilystream startled the cat on the other side of the river he looked at her and smiled. "Sorry, I didn't know you were looking for fish" He was really polite as if he was in the same clan as her. Her fur prickled when he sat up and started talking to her, "My name is Oakbreeze, what's yours?" He waited for her to answer and tilted his head when she didn't. She flicked her tail before she answered "Lilystream, is my name" Lilystream felt weird talking to this cat almost like she has a special relationship with this cat. Oakbreeze was showing signs that he had a crush on Lilystream. She could tell by the way he was acting. Lilystream kind of felt the same for the random cat.

"Hey Lilystream i need to tell you something" Hazelbreeze seemed scared to tell her sister what she was going to say. "I'm having kits" Hazelbreeze says scared Lilystream wouldn't approve of the father. "Whose the father?" Lilystream was excited for her sisters kits to come, "Spikeclaw" Lilystream got disappointed when she heard the father but she smiled again. "Although I don't like your mate I'm sure he will be a great father" Hazelbreeze smiled.

Lilystream saw Oakbreeze again she smiled at him as he did the same. Lilystream across the river talked to Oakbreeze, "Hello!" Lilystream heard Oakbreeze say, "I have a question" Lilystream listened closely "I was wondering if you'd like to be my mate" Oakbreeze was determined although they were from different clans she wanted to be his mate too. "Yes! but we can't let our clans know." Oakbreeze nodded.
