I Never Forgot

Chapter 7

"What were you thinking!" Exclaims Lina. I glare at her.

"It...it... it was nothing," I mumble.

"Lina is right, you need to be careful bae," replies Keeley.

"Keeley, you weren't even there," I spat.

"Bae, it is ok, but you need to control your....umm, your." Keeley stops talking and looks down.

"What! Spit it out!" I bark.

"Your jealousy...." I roll my eyes.

"I'm not jealous! She started it!" I explain loudly.

"Paris! You pulled Kobe out of the cafeteria when Aimee was looking at him!" announces Kailah," You were jealous!"

"Kobe isn't your boyfriend, Paris..."Lina states the obvious.

"I know that but..... I think..." I stopped and looked away. Lina, Keeley, Kailah and I were in the bathroom after my little....incident with Aimee. I didn't do anything but save Kobe from her. After Kobe and I left the cafeteria he got mad and walked away, leaving me. Kailah and Lina rushed after me and Summer had to deal with a very confused Aimee who said she didn't do anything wrong. We went to the bathroom and randomly found Keeley and basically they started interrogating me about it.

"What! Finish your sentence!?" Exclaims a very impatient Kailah.

"I think Aimee is trying to steal my popularity!" I exclaim. My friends look at me. Then they laugh.

"Paris, your just overreacting," Lina tells me.

"Am I!?" I spat," You saw how Aimee was trying to swoon Summer and Kobe. My best friend and my long lost crush! Whats next? My reputation? The rest of my friends-" I stop suddenly. I realized what Aimee was doing.

"What is it Paris?"Keeley asks worried.

"I know what she is doing. She is trying to break me so she can steal my position on the cheer squad!" I announce.

"What makes you say that?" Asks Lina.

"Well she is trying to get me mad at her so the coach will kick me off the squad. My coach told me to make her feel welcome, and what is the opposite of making someone feel welcome?"

"Umm, fighting?" Keeley replies.

"Exactly. If I fight with Aimee the coach will take my title of co captian and probabaly give it to Aimee."

"What makes you so sure she is trying to do that?" Asks Lina.

"Funny you ask that, but when I was walking out with Kobe she was glaring at me. If she was so sweet she would be looking confused and clueless."

"So, how do we stop her?" Asks Kailah.

"Wait you believe me!?"

"Of course we do, she is too....fake," replies Keeley.

"Hey, that's what I said!" I chuckle.

"I think the best thing to do is to not get kicked off the cheer squad and make her feel welcome, but Keeley, Kailah, and I will be behind the scenes messing up her every move," explains Lina.

"Ok but we can't tell anybody, especially the boys and Summer, they are already under her spell," Kailah tells us. I nod. This plan was going to work.

"Operation: Get Rid of Her Royal Fakeness is a go!" I announce.

Lina, Kailah, and I walk back to our lunch table. I sit down, acting like nothing is wrong.

"Oh, Paris I'm so sorry, I didn't know that you and Kobe were dating," apologizes Aimee. I look over at Lina and Kailah and give them a devilish smile.
