Chapter 6

'Who killed my husband?'Mother asked in a trembling voice.I peeked through the gap in the door.I could only see my mother.A harsh voice replied:'I do not know Miss.We were all there but the killer had a mask on.It was dark as well so we could not see each other properly.I tried to save him.The others ran after the killer but could not catch him.'His voice was breaking on the end.'Thank you for coming here and sharing what you know.You can leave now.'Mother said.'Miss it will be best if you move closer to family and away from here.The killer shot your husband for a reason and he has not been found ,I am afraid that he still have unfinished business.'He said.'There was silence for a moment when footsteps come towards the door,I quickly ran upstairs.     

"Sweetie are you not going to eat your food?"Mother asked in a soft voice.I was playing around with my mac and cheese .I looked up at her ,placing my fork down,folding my arms in front of me."Mother what really happen to Dad?"I asked .Mother immediately went blank,swallowing hard."You know what happened,why ask again?"Mother said in a more deeper voice."Mother who was the man you asked about what happened that night?"I asked again knowing that I caught her red handed.She looked me dead in the eyes."Were you eavesdropping on my conversation that day?How could you .I did not teach you this manners."Mother shouted back."Why are you lying to us then!!!"I shouted,while standing up and storming off to my room.

I slammed my door shut.I opened my blankets up and crawling up into a ball ,crying.I cried and cried,missing my father.He appeared in my mind ,dancing with me in the living room when I was so little,I was laughing happily.My eyes closed and I drifted of with my father dancing with me.

The next morning I woke up with the sun greeting my cheek.I stood up walking over to my desk with my flask of flowers ,smelling the beautiful sunflowers.I got ready for school.Dressed in a :White crop top,pair of blue leggings and a blazer matching with white vans.My hair high up into a ponytail.Lightly make up.I went down stairs and took a bottle of water and a green apple.Ethan was already waiting for me in the car.I jumped into the car and took a bite out of the apple.Ethan looked tired and off."You ready for your first day?"I asked eating my apple,as we drove of to school.Ethan missed yesterdays first school day .His reason was he was busy with something.I still wandered what he was doing.But unfortunately he was secretively.

Ethan parked the car in the student parking and we both climbed out at the same time.Eyes was on us.Everyone's mouth was dropping to the floor when they saw me and Ethan walking together.I was not admiring the attention but at least I am not alone today and me and Ethan can share this attention.When we got to the hall Ethan went his own way,but I assumed he went to the principal.I collected my books for the few classes.Stacy was the first to ran up to me ."Holy hell ,you are a bad diva."She said lightly bumping me.I gave her a questioning look."What do you mean?"I asked."You walked in here with a smoking hot guy,making everyone's jaws drop."Stacy said with a (you know what I mean)expression.I started laughing."EWWW!!Stacy the smoking hot guy is my brother."I said still laughing.She looked shock and her jaw fell open."Your parents must be hot."She said still shocked.

Stacy and me had Chemistry class together and she could not stop asking questions about my brother.I did not mind her questions but at a point I got annoyed and she could tell .She did stop asking questions and changed the topic."That teacher is so nerdy.No wander he and the library teacher are fucking the books out of the shelves."Stacy said while we were heading for our next class."What words are you not using Stacy."Lily said while tagging along with us."You must know by now that I know how to use my words wisely."Stacy said lifting her head high in the air.I only laughed for her reaction."I do know you for that.No wander you are doing so good in English essay's .But did you guys see the new guy.He looks so gorgeous."Lily said dreaming of Ethan.Stacy and I started laughing."The new guy is Emily's brother."Stacy said when we got our laugh under control.Lily looked at me like I was a living angle.
