Chapter 17

I woke up in a empty bed.Stefan was gone.I saw my window open with a breeze blowing in making me shiver.I slowly stood up.I felt kinda sad that he left and did not tell me.The smell of bacon come strolling into my nose.I headed to the stairs.I wander where Ethan was.But what if I try to go down the stairs without Ethan's help.I carefully and slowly made it down the stairs.

Mother was making bacon and eggs with toast.I sat down at the kitchen island.She placed a glass with fresh orange juice in front of me with a smile."Good morning sweetie."She said afterwards.I took a sip of the juice."Morning Mom.I expected that mom would sleep in."I said.She then placed a plate filled with eggs, toast and bacon in front of me.

She then sat down as well with her breakfast."I have a meeting with David." She said.I nodded my head confusingly.She ignored my confusion."Remember that I want to first meet this Jackson guy before you go out with him."She said. I nodded.Ethan come downstairs in a rush.It looked like he just woken up and was not properly dressed.

" Em are you ready to go because we are late."He said grabbing some of the bacon in the pan."Oh, shit I have to still get dressed." I said standing up and rushing to the stairs."Language Em!" Mother shouted. Ethan carried me up the stairs quickly. I got ready in a rush and I only grabbed my school bag, phone and headed downstairs again afterwards.

Ethan was waiting for me at his car smoking.We were in a rush to school and boy didn't I miss his speeding.We reached school in time and thanks for my guard that the teachers was giving me a warning.It was my first period and me and Ava had it together.She was questioning me as soon as I sat down.I was always on time at school.

My phone beeped loudly. The teacher scanned the class any sign of phones,but didn't see any so she continued with the lesson.I took my phone setting it under the table on my lap and checked my message.

Ava:Why you late girl. :-)

She couldn't texted me any other time...

Me:I just wanted to be fashionable late today.You know girl. (^_-)

I texted back.The teacher was still busy with her lesson. I waited for her response since she was typing back.

Ava:Girl if you call that baggy hoodie and ripped jeans with vans fashion then I would love to make that a reason for being late.Wait till Lilly hears this. :O

I looked over at her,she was trying to keep her laugh in.I flicked her a 'fuck you' finger and continued listening to the teacher.After class me and Ava was talking about the upcoming exams. I wasn't in the mood for the exams but I knew I had to work hard for this exams.

We went our separate ways and I was heading to the other side of the school since my class was that side.As I was walking to my class I heard clicking footsteps behind me and then a familiar voice,"You disgust me Emily.I can't believe that you are such a slut."She said crossing her arms in front of her.I was confused for why she is angry with me once again.

"What's wrong Chloe, did I steel your lipstick or what?"I asked rolling my eyes for her behavior.She then stepped closer to me."You slept with my boyfriend you dirty little slut."She spatted into my face.It then hit me.She lives next door so of course she saw Stefan coming to me and leaving the next morning."Oh yeah... That..."I said feeling little guilty. He is still her boyfriend.I looked away from her.

"This is what happens when you want to mess with me."She said pushing me of balance.I fell to the floor hard and my leg was going into pain.She then kicked the guard."If you ever try that tricks on me ever again I will break your other leg."She said walking away.I didn't say a word and was in a lot of pain.I couldn't stand up and laid on the floor crying from the pain.
