Chapter 18

I was beautifully dressed and comfy for the date with Jackson.I was dressed in a black plain crop top,with a short denim orange skirt completing the outfit with a orange jacket and ankle black boots.My hair up into a messy bun.Lightly make up and some jewelry.I wish my ankle guard was off then I would look cute.As I was looking at myself in the mirror my window opened up.Stefan come trembling into my room.I stood in my spot looking at him.He come walking to me.I still didn't move or said a word.When he was close up to me ,I stopped him with my hand on his chest.He stopped and gave me weird look.

"Stefan what are you doing here?"I said.I wasn't in the mood to see him after what his girlfriend did to me."I come to tell you something and just to see you.You acted strange today."He said searching me eyes.I was expressionless."What do you want to tell me?"I asked stepping one step back away from him.He then scanned me up and down."Are you going out tonight?"He asked seeing I am dressed for a date.I looked away from him."Yes I am.I am going out with Jackson."I said little annoyed.Before Stefan could say another word,Ethan come in saying,"Jackson are waiting for you,if you don't come quickly ,Mom will then know everything about him."He said not seeing Stefan.When he did he stopped in his tracks.

"Oh,am I interfering?"He asked looking at us.I looked at Stefan,but he was quite."No,I was just leaving."Stefan said looking at Ethan.I could feel the anger washing over Stefan."I will wait outside."Ethan said walking out.It was silent for a moment.Then Stefan come up to me and kissed me passionately before leaving out the window.He didn't say a word.I run up to my window and saw Stefan running off into the dark.

After being ready I headed downstairs.Jackson was sitting on the sofa and was questioned by my mother.He looked scared and when he met eyes with me his eyes screamed for help.I gave a small smile and mother was still eyeing him.Ethan was leaning against the window."I am ready."I said.Jackson stood up and walked up to me with a gorgeous smile.I blushed a little."Well you better look after Em and don't even think to bring her home after midnight.She will be here before 11h00 pm."Mother said with a scary glare.Jackson only nodded in understanding.

After hugging mom, me and Jackson drove off to our date which I still didn't know where it will be.I nagged him to tell me but he refused.I enjoyed his company.He was really nice and made sure I was not bored.We drove what felt like hours and finally stopped at a old barn.It was just outside town.Jackson helped me out of the car carefully with my leg.I followed him into the barn.There was laying a blanket with a basket,bowls and plates with  food and sweets.I was so impressed with Jackson,I wasn't picking him for doing something romantic.

We both sat down on the blanket.He opened my coke for me and handed it to me.I thanked him and took a sip.The beautiful fairy lights hanging around us was so sparkly.The air was so fresh and his company was amazing.He  told me jokes and silly stories.We laughed and enjoyed the delicious food and sweets.After all that he asked me for a dance.I first refused to since I have the guard on but he insist that he will be gently with my leg and also help me.So he played soft music and we danced in a slow movement.I enjoyed the dance a lot and his warm body heat washing over me was just so cozy.

After slow dancing we become silly and made up some of our own dance moves on more pop/rock music.I laughed my belly out with his moves he pulled out.After all of my laughing I went to sit down for  some breath and to rest my leg for a while.He joined me and also come to sit down.I took a sip from my coke."Thank you for coming out with me tonight."He said looking at me and smiling."I have to thank you.I really am enjoying this."I said returning the smile.He then looked down at his lap and asked,"Are you and Stefan something?"I then was thinking about it.He is only my friend,I thought but I knew I didn't want him as my friend."No his only my friend.He and Chloe are together."I said looking away.

"Oh,I wasn't sure and wanted to make sure."He said feeling relieved.I looked at Jackson and only smiled."Emily?"He asked with a weird look.My heartbeat rise and my hands got little sweaty."Yes Jackson?"I said looking him in the eyes.He leaned in a little bit and searched my eyes."May I borrow a kiss,I promise to give it back."He said.That was so goofy,I then closed the gap between our lips and kissed him.He kissed me slowly and gently.He was tasting so sweet and I loved how he was gently baiting on my lower lip and kissing me playfully.We then parted for some air.I then removed my hand from his hair which I didn't know was there.He took my hand and gave it one last kiss.

"Thank you Emily. And I am so sorry."He said.I was confused.I gave him a weird look.He didn't say a word and before I could ask him why he said sorry a hand with a cloth come from behind me and held it up to my nose and mouth almost suffocating me with the cloth.My vision become blurry and I tried fighting the person behind me but was becoming weak.Jackson looked me straight into my eyes and didn't move or say anything.I then passed out.

Ethan's POV

Mom was sitting in the living room studying the clock.It was passed 11h00 pm already and mother was worried.I tried to assure her that Emily are fine and maybe running little passed the time.After making a lot of coffee for mom,I felt frustrated.She didn't want to go to bed or even just wait.She tried calling Emily but no answer.I was leaning against the window keeping an eye on the street.After a while a text come through from Emily.

Emily:Sorry we are running late we are stuck in traffic.Will be home soon,don't wait up.Love you xxx  

Mother gave a big sigh and said she is going to bed.I told her I will stay up making sure she is coming home.Mother then headed of to bed very tired.I read the message over and over and it didn't make any sense.Emily never say love you over a text.And where will they have been to be stuck in traffic in the middle of the night.I grabbed my car keys and called the boys asking them to me up with me at the barn.I then drove off to the barn.

When I arrived ,the boys was already there waiting for me.I walked up to the barn and as soon as I entered I saw a blanket with a basket and food that was eaten from.There was also fairy lights hanging around the barn.The boys was standing on the one side also looking at the blanket and food."Are you guys having a picnic in the barn?"I asked.They then made eye contact with me and both nodded no."This was here before we got here."Zak said.I walked closer to the blanket and saw a small purse laying on the blanket.I picked it up and opened it up and saw Emily's ID and lipstick with perfume and some money.Her phone was not there.

"This is Emily's."I said standing up still holding the purse.The boys looked at each other in confusion."Are you sure?"Kyle asked.I nodded showing Emily's ID."That's weird was she here then?"Zak asked coming closer to investigate."She was on a date with Jackson but never come home and left a message which I believe wasn't she."I said feeling furious. Zak and Kyle looked at each other again and then nodded at each other."Ethan we got a picture of that guy we told you that might be undercover at your school."Kyle said while Zak scrolled through his phone.He was then hopeful. Zak then showed me a picture of Jackson.

"That is Jackson."I said furious.Now it makes sense.He may have taken her."Do you know where they may taken her?"I asked,they were silent for a while then nodded their head no."We have to find her!!!"I shouted angry.The boys flinched a little but then shook their head in understanding."We will go check out at our nest and ask around."Kyle said."I will check out around town he can't be far."I said.

After the boys left I called mom and told her that Emily is missing and I will meet her at home.I then rushed off to home.I hope she is alright and why did he take her?She doesn't deserve to get dragged into this gang drama.
