Black is what Namjoon chose, so that's what color dress I would wear. I didn't own many black gowns because they reminded me of funerals. I didn't much like the color black. But for him, I'd wear exactly what he wanted.
I left my hair down against my shoulders and added soft curls in it.
I head towards the dining room and my stomach feels so fluttery. The other six were advised to stay in their rooms and not to interrupt when a date was going on. I made sure to make a few rules so this could be a fair choice. The choice was going to be hard enough without the weight of someone preparing a better date than the other because one might be in a better financial state than another.
Stepping inside the dining room, I see Namjoon standing by, waiting for me. His hands are neatly folded together as he waited. My jaw falls into the floor when I see him. He looked incredible. I was already dreading making all these dates formal. Formal meant these men would look their absolute best.
Namjoon locks eyes with me and his chest expands as he inhales deeply. He comes to me quickly and bows. "Your majesty. You look breathtaking." I grin at him, and he returns the smile. Those dimples were even more tempting while he was dressed his best.
He leans in and kisses my cheek sweetly and I hold my hand up to my blessed cheek. Blushing, we walk to the table and are seated. The staff brings our meal. I wish I was hungrier. But I was a nervous wreck. So much was riding on these dates. So much was expected of me.
After dinner it's time to dance in the ballroom. Namjoon seems quite apprehension. I'm not sure this aspect is fair because Jimin is the dance teacher. Of course, he will blow everyone away. But it isn't a competition. This is to help me decide. Even if it seemed impossible right now.
Namjoon clicks the remote of the stereo and blasts some slow piano music. He grins as he takes my hand in his and places his other behind my back. We begin to sway slowly, and I stare up at him. Namjoon was the tallest, so I always had to hold my head higher to look in his eyes.
"Your highness..." I interrupt him. "For tonight, just call me by my name." Namjoon nods, dropping his head to smile.
"You look absolutely beautiful Remi." I feel my face burn as I gaze up at him. Neither of us could tear our eyes away from each other. Or bodies swayed and danced. Namjoon gathered courage and leaned down to me. He waits a moment before connecting his lips to mine. I immediately kiss him back and he squeezes my hand in the process.
We continue to move, back and forth, our lips not leaving the others'.
The song ends and we stop and smile at each other. Namjoon kisses my hand before we part for the night.

The next evening came. Tonight's date is with Jin. He had said that he preferred the color pink. I was surprised to hear that. I only had one pink dress, so it was my only choice. It made me feel like a princess though. I wore my hair up this time and in an elegant bun.
My nerves were settling in again as I leave my bedroom and walk towards the dining room. Once I step inside, my breath is knocked out of my lungs. Jin's hair was combed back, and I've never seen him more handsome. He wasn't playing to lose, that was for sure.
In his hand, Jin had a rose waiting for me. I smiled sweetly at him. He grinned widely once he saw me, decked out in his favorite color. I walk up to him, and he takes my hand and kisses it softly. I take the rose from Jin and smile as I sniff it.
"You look..." We both said at the exact time and then bust out laughing. "Beautiful." "Gorgeous." I smile timidly at Jin, and he gazes into my eyes for longer than I'm able to stand. He was making my knees weak.
Holding my hand in his, Jin guides me to the table so we can enjoy our meal. We ate, smiling at each other and Jin would wink at me sometimes when he caught me staring at him.
"I'm mad that I have to go second. You'll forget about me in five days!" Jin complained and I laughed, holding my chest and bending over. "I could never forget about you Jin." I blew him a kiss and he grins.
Once dinner is finished, we stroll into the ballroom. Jin selects some slow love songs for us to dance to. I step up to him, placing my hand on his broad shoulder and holding his hand with my other. Our bodies immediately respond to the lull of the music.
"Remi, you make my heart race. When I see you it's like the happiest moment in my life. And each time, that moment beats the last." I blush and smile, trying to hide my face. "Don't hide yourself Remi, you're so stunning." I look up at him and lose myself in his eyes for a moment.
Then I finally blink when he closes the distance and rests his lips against mine. I kiss him back and enjoy the softness of his lips. We stand still, breaking apart the kiss just to go in for another. It was easy to get swept up in the moment. But eventually Jin pulls back, and his face is red, especially his ears.
"Don't forget about me..." he whispers, and I shake my head. "Never."
