I'm feeling pretty good about myself after my brief piano lesson. I was really looking forward to tomorrow. I was excited to learn more about learning an instrument. It's necessary for someone of my status to know how to play an instrument. It meant that I was distinguished.

My heels click against the marble tile as I walk towards our ballroom. In this room my father would hold meetings with his advisors and those beneath him. I didn't visit this room often unless we were holding a party. Sometimes we would throw events and dances were held here. But I didn't know how to dance. I couldn't move my body elegantly or beautifully. I guess that was about to change.

Once I'm inside, I see a solitary frame of a man standing in the middle of the room. He's in a suit and I can only see the backside of him. I step inside the room, and he turns around once he hears my heels clicking.

My breath is stolen when the man turns around, he was gorgeous. He smiles and his eyes curve into crescents. "Your highness! What an honor this is!" His voice is higher pitched but offers a calming effect. I stare at his kind eyes as he approaches me. He bows in front of me, then lifts my right hand and presses his full lips tenderly to the top of my hand.

"My name is Park Jimin, I am going to be your dance teacher. I must say, I've seen your portraits, but they do not do you any justice. Your majesty, you're very beautiful." My face instantaneously burns, and I know my cheeks are a deep red. "Thank you..." I murmur, feeling diminished next to him. He was surely more beautiful than I was.

"Do you have any experience with dancing your highness?" Jimin asks me curiously, so he can figure out where to begin. I shake my head, feeling guilty. "No, I never much liked dancing. I don't think I'll be good at it." Jimin laughs a breathy laugh. "Nonsense! You never know until you try! I bet you'll surprise yourself." I smile at his encouragement. His smile sure was contagious.

Jimin looks at my feet. "Good thing you're wearing heels already. Since most of the time you'll need to dance it'll be in formal settings. So, it's good that you'll begin to learn in the appropriate shoes." I become bashful. "I don't usually dress like this." I admit and Jimin grins at me.

"Well it suits you, your majesty. You look radiant." I want to hide my face because I know I'm blushing again. I'm not used to a man this handsome complimenting me this much. It was flattering but made me so nervous.

Jimin steps closer to me and it causes my heart rate to pick up. "Okay, let's get into position." I swallow at the proximity of him to me. He holds up his left hand open. "Put your right hand into my left and put your left hand on my shoulder." I do as he says. Jimin holds my hand in his and places his other hand on my upper back. "Straighten out your elbows. Make both of them parallel with the floor at all times." I nod and make my arms stiff. It feels awkward.

Jimin laughs and his eyes disappear again. "Relax your shoulders or you'll end up hurting yourself!" I giggle along with him and try to drop down my shoulders. Suddenly the position doesn't seem so difficult. "Very nice," he compliments me, and I smile up at him. Jimin wasn't much taller than me since I had heels on. My eyes were level with his chin.

"First we will step back, and then to your right, my left and then forward and finish with a step to your left and my right. Okay? Let's try it!" His enthusiasm was quite cute. It was obvious that he loved dancing and loved teaching it.

Stepping backwards, Jimin pulls me along with him. I step forward and follow his lead. Then we step to the side and then step forward. I accidentally step on the tip of his toes a few times. He doesn't say anything though. His sweet smile doesn't falter as he guides me through the steps.

I stare down at my feet, trying to make sure I don't step on his toes again. Jimin removes his hand from my back briefly to raise my chin back up. "Keep your eyes on me." He holds my back again and we continue our little square of movement. I'm trying to keep my eyes on him but it's becoming difficult. He is so stunning that I'm having trouble concentrating.

Suddenly we stop and my eyes connect with Jimin's, and I wait for further instructions. Without releasing my hand, he continues our lesson. "Okay, so now we will bend our knees slightly and dip when we move up and down. When you move side to side you do not dip. Follow my lead." I nod and he begins moving again.

Missing the first dip, I feel embarrassed, but Jimin just smiles. We continue the dance and Jimin informs me each time that I need to dip. "Bend...bend...bend." I listen to his voice and follow his lead. This was surprisingly easy once I got the hang of it. I couldn't help but smile, feeling proud of myself.

"You're a natural!" Jimin exclaims, pride beaming from his face. It makes me feel good about myself. "I just have a good teacher." I tell him and he grins. I loved seeing him smile. He became even more beautiful when he smiled.

"That's all for today! I wanted to start out with an easy dance! We will try a different one tomorrow." I almost frown at his words. I didn't want our session to be over. I was having fun. And being around Jimin was nice. Actually, all of my teachers so far were comforting to be with.

Jimin lifts my hand from his shoulder and kisses it gently again. "See you tomorrow, your highness." He gives me a smirk and my heart skips a beat.

Learning from Jimin might be hazardous for my health.
