Queen Raya was very pleased on how her warriors defended their island bravely from its conqueror. She gathered all the people in her island.
“I would like to thank you all for defending our island from its conquerors. I can’t imagine what our island would be like if the Spaniards have successfully invaded us. All of you did a great job. I would like to give special recognition to Kusog for killing the leader of the Spanish conqueror.”
Kusog appeared behind Queen Raya.
Queen Raya gave Kusog a dagger bedecked with pearls, diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires. He raised his dagger with his right hand and showed it to the crowd. The crowd gave him a round of applause and cheered on him.
“Our island will never be safe without the leadership of one of our bravest warrior, Bayani!”
The crowd cheered louder for Bayani. Queen Raya gave him a bolo bedecked with pearls, diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires.
Bayani raised his bolo with his right hand and showed it to the crowd. The crowd gave him a round of applause and cheered on him.
