Queen Raya, Ahmad, Felipe, and all of her warriors started their martial arts training early morning the next day. They were given five Chinese trainers that will teach them the skills of Kung Fu martial arts. They trained 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset for 3 months. Their final training was a one-on-one combat. The champion for the one-on-one combat would instantly get the black belt. They fought so hard in order to get the black belt. Queen Raya didn’t mind fighting with men at all. She could compete with them in one-on-one combat. All the warriors did their best to win the black belt but in the end, there were only four defending champions that would make it to the championship.
The four defending champions who made it to the championship round were Queen Raya, Felipe, Ahmad, and Captain Igor.
Queen Raya was surprised with Ahmad’s martial arts skills. He was so skilled in fighting. It seemed to her that he was already a black belter all along. She was not surprise with Felipe’s fighting skills at all since she already saw him slain a giant and fought 10 men single-handedly. She was also not surprise that Captain Igor would be one of the four defending champions since he was one of her best warriors that’s why she chose him to be her captain.Everyone was so excited to see who would be the defending champion. Most of the Maharlikan warriors bet for Queen Raya to be the Defending Champion for they already knew how great her fighting skills were.
Most of the Chinese betted for Ahmad because his martial arts skills were already suited for a black belter. There were a few Maharlikan warriors who betted for Felipe for they never saw a man slain a giant before.
There were also a few Chinese who betted for Captain Igor. According to some Chinese experts in martial arts, Captain Igor may not be as fast as Ahmad and as strong as Felipe but he fought like a philosopher. He was not the type who would waste his energy by attacking the enemy aggressively. He was the calculating type. He preferred to dodge the enemy’s attack and save his energy. When his opponent was already exhausted, that’s the time that he would use all his energy to attack. He was the silent but deadly type.
The first opponents that would fight each other would be Ahmad and Felipe. Whoever would win between them would proceed to the final round. The second opponents that would fight each other would be Queen Raya and Captain Igor. Whoever would win between them would proceed to the final round.
The contestants must avoid hitting the private parts of their opponents or else they would be automatically disqualified. The contestant that would be knocked out first and would not be able to get up in a count of 10 would be declared as the loser. The contestant that would be out in the ring first would be declared as the loser. Killing their opponents during the tournament was strictly prohibited and was punishable by law. They were only allowed to knock their opponents down or throw them outside the ring.
Everyone was so excited.
Ahmad felt so nervous even though he was already a Kung Fu martial arts black belter. He was not trained to fight in an arena not like Felipe. He only did martial arts as a hobby.
The wounds on Felipe’s back was opened due to nonstop martial arts training and one-on-one combat. The blood was already dripping out from his bandage. He was not the type of man that would easily give up in a battle. He wanted to finish his battle with Ahmad immediately because he could no longer stand the pain on his back.
Queen Raya was worried when she saw blood dripping out from Felipe’s bandage. She wanted to postpone their battle so that she could put medicine on Felipe’s wounds. She couldn’t take it any longer so she stood up to postpone their battle and resume tomorrow. Before she was able to say a word, they already hit the gong to start the battle.
