From the moment we got to camp, Tavia and I didn't leave Lincoln's side. We were in medical with him when Clarke arrived. She told us that the commander would give us a truce if we give her Finn.

"He's not a reaper anymore. He doesn't need to be restrained." Clarke pointed out

Lincoln had wanted to be restrained while in medical since he was still afraid of what he has done...

"Is there a chance of peace?" Dr. Griffin asks

"Did she leave riders at the gate?" Lincoln questioned

"Only two outside."

"They're waiting for Finn. You won't have much time to decide." He sighed

"She can't expect us to just hand him over he's our people. Would she do that?" Tavia questions

"She wouldn't let the rest of her people die over one person. If you don't give him up, she will kill everyone here." Lincoln fired back

"There has to be something else we can offer." Dr. Griffin sighed

"With all due respect Dr. Griffin, I agree with Lincoln. Finn took 18 lives. Think about that." I reason

"The commander is offering to take one life. You should take the deal before it's too late." Lincoln adds

"How can you say that? Both of you. Finn was the first to come to you for peace! He is your friend." Clarke frowned

"He massacred my village. Some of them were friends of mine too." Lincoln said

"But that wasn't Finn. You know that isn't who he is."

"It is now." I say

"We all got a monster inside of us. We're all responsible of what it dose once we let it out." Lincoln said

"What will they do to him?" Abby asks

"Fire. He killed innocents so it starts with fire."

"Starts?" Clark gasps

"They'll take his hands, his tongue, and his eyes. Whoever has grieved will get a turn with the knife. Sunrise, the commander will kill him with her blade. I never known anyone who has survived till the blade."

"He killed 18 therefore he will suffer the pain of 18 deaths. Then we can have peace." Lincoln explains

After some time, Abby and Kane came back to medical. Kane told us his idea of us holding a trial.

"She accepted your proposal?" Lincoln asked

"Well no but I think she'd be open to it." Kane said

"If we put Finn on trial ourselves will your commander respect the outcome? Even if it doesn't show result in his death?" Dr. Griffin asks

"Even if she want to, she'd be dead by the morning." Lincoln scoffs

"Your people would kill their own leader for showing mercy?" Tavia asks

"For being weak. Finn killed innocents. This is our way of life." Lincoln corrected

"Ive spent some time with your commander. She's a visionary." Kane said

"Which is why you're all alive. If it were up to others, you'd already be dead."

"Indra." I slightly chuckle to myself

"She's dangerous , Abby." Kane said

"If she's standing in between an agreement then I should speak to her." Dr. Griffin sighed

"There's nothing you can say that'll convince her." Lincoln said

"Maybe not. But I am able to show her we understand her pain." Dr. Griffin frowns

After Dr. Griffin leaves Kane hesitates but looks at me.

"You still don't have parents, Aurora. I can find you a famil-"

"Kane nows not the time. I don't want to be adopted and we all might die because you don't want to give up Finn." I snap

"Please just leave." I say tearing my eyes away from him

Hours pass by and we get the news that Finn turned himself in.

I stepped outside to watch the commotion and notice the grounders setting up a big wooden pole.

"They want us to watch." I smirk

I see Clarke walking out to see the commander. As they're talking, the grounders take Finn out and tie him to the pole.

She then ran to Finn, hugged and kissed him and once she stepped away, she had a knife in her hand and his stomach had a stab wound.

Clarke mercy killed Finn.
