"Wha-!?"

(Y/n) froze upon turning realizing who it was that asked the question. Bede clicked his tongue taking the seat beside her, again she faced forward tightly pressing herself together.

It's been a while since she last saw Bede, she can sense a sudden change in him. Like he discovered some sort of secret no one was supposed to know.

She hummed trying to think of what to say before he began again, "There's been a reporting of Pokemon going missing in this park, might want to keep a close eye on them if you don't want to lose them"

"O-Oh... I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up"

She awkwardly smiled nodding her head, in all that's truthful, she doesn't take kindly to those who do those acts.

Like her brother, she won't hesitate to smack a criminal who even thinks of committing that crime around her. Yes, as shy and anti-social as she may be, don't think for a second she won't become a beast to protect what she loves.

Bede watched the female beside him grow a new coat of protection around her watching the Pokemon with the utmost attention.

He chuckled pulling out a Pokeball and releasing his Pokemon, Duosion glanced around before looking up at their trainer. He pointed at the play area ushering them to go, they chirped in delight floating off quickly to join the rest.

(Y/n) let out a soft chuckle after witnessing Bede's soft side. For someone who has a constant glare and wrinkles, she never would've guessed he had a delicate image.

"You really like your Pokemon, huh?"

She asked turning back forward, he only hummed again clicking his tongue. He would've come up with a lie to cover it up, perhaps that he only does it to strengthen their surroundings, or maybe to earn better trust in them being alone.

But in the end, he said nothing relaxing on the bench. Instead, he turned the conversation on her pointing at the sleeping male, "What's up with Poke Center?"

"Poke Center?"

"His mouth never closes"

Bede stated obviously, (Y/n) let out an airy laugh realizing how much in comparison the two are. She hummed reaching over to his head softly pushing his loose hair away from his face.

"We were at an Eating Contest and he and Sobble ate too much, so they're taking a nap"

"Glutton... And let me guess they lost?"

She nods patting Hop's arm that was holding Sobble, they lost but they did try their best. Bede raised an eyebrow at her actions sitting up and leaning on his knees, "Would've been better if they won, winning is more fun than losing"

"Winning is fun for some people, but most tend to just want the experience out of it... And I think that's better than winning"

She confessed leaning on the quietly sleeping male until a loud snore came out of him making the two flinch. Bede pressed his lips to a thin line annoyingly humming at Hop's snoring.

No surprise to him that even being asleep he's the loudest between the two. He focused back on the female nervously laughing patting his head that was slowly falling off her shoulder.

When he first met her, there was some kind of caring nature to her. The type of making others happy before her own.

A people pleaser or a goodie to shoes as he likes to describe the person.

But there was something different when it was her and the male.

Other than care, Bede could see it clear as day that she sees Hop differently. Admiration? Curiosity? Affection? Perhaps.
