Days have gone by and neither of the two have seen each other well by themselves that is. After the whole incident with the two Raihan was always around (Y/n) wherever she was going, her Scorbunny and Gible did their best to cheer her up but nothing worked knowing she lost her only friend over something she should've said sooner. Deep down she wished she never said anything but knew it was right to have mentioned it before it was too far ahead, "I'll be going to the store to pack some equipment before I leave tomorrow, want to join me?"

Raihan sat beside the depressed female curled up in her bed hugging her pillows she shook her head. He sadly smiled at her rubbing her shoulder standing up kissing her head, the kiss brought back memories of Hop making her feel worse thinking of their time together, "I'll be back soon"

He closed the door behind him leaning on the door his mother stood outside worried her daughter won't recover for the event, Raihan sighed scratching the back of his head smacking his hands on his thighs, "How is she?"

"Better but she still hasn't said anything since that day"

"Raihan...please don't go. She needs someone to be here with her"

"Mum you know I can't I don't have anyone to watch the Gym for a longer-term, if I do then someone will take it"

Their mother pressed her lips cupping her hands turning away from him he wrapped his arms around her wishing he could take her with him but in the place he's in he can barely fit himself. "She just needs time to know everything will be fine"

"Hop? Honey are you okay?"

Hop sat on his bed scrolling through the photos he had with (Y/n), they all made him realize how much of a bad friend he was each of them had a moment where he forced her to do something for him never giving back. He didn't deserve her, he never did. How could he not have seen his action sooner, he was blinded by the thought of someone supporting everything he did and said he never thought that even she had an opinion in things.

"Is that even a question?"

He mumbled to his mom throwing himself back on the bed groaning, Wooloo couldn't even look at him after that day even going as far as kicking him on the legs to show how mad he is at him. His mom walked over to his bed sitting at the edge," You know...tomorrow is the day the train comes to transport you to the first gym. Might want to get ready"

Hop sat up sighing after that day the last thing he wanted to do was participate in the Challenge. He just wanted his friend back. His mom grabbed his hand rubbing it softly smiling," You know...Leon is going back too so you'll be on the same train as him, won't that be exciting?"

"I guess...Mum, have you ever made someone sad?"

"Yeah, many times but I always try to fix them before it's too late. There are somewhere I knew the damaged I did was too much leaving the person forever"

Hearing that made Hop flinch the thought of losing her forever did not settle well for him, his mom noticed the scared reaction waving her hands saying that it was for the better. It confused him asking how, she stared down at the flower pot she was going to change out picking up the little flower, "See people are like flowers sometimes we try to help them grow fix what we think is wrong but in reality it's better to just leave it be, it may hurt letting go but the flower will grow into something more beautiful than before. There are some people in my past that I wish I was still friends with but seeing them smile without me that's enough for me"
