"(Y/n)!"

Raihan grinned showing off his sharp tooth as the three finally appeared from the wild area. Just like his visit he made a beeline for the girl crushing every bone in her body. She airily chuckled patting her older brother on the shoulder as he did as he pleased.

Both Victor and Hop sweat dropped anxiously smiling and staring at the adult swinging around their friend.

"R-Raihan can you please put me down?"

(Y/n) muffled slowly losing air, fortunately, he did gently placing her down. He quickly asked to see the badge holder wanting to see the three badges himself. He awed at the golden pieces ruffling her hair, proud that she managed so well.

This happy atmosphere lasted for a few more seconds before it died down and Raihan shifted to the two boys. He gingerly placed his hands on their shoulders asking how their battles had been.

Victor was the first to speak waving his hand, that it's all been fairly easy so far. Hop only nodded not trusting his words, the happy expression on Raihan's face was a completely different story from what his body was saying.

"Mhm that's good to hear, now then let's show your badges to the guard and we can head up to my place"

Raihan released the boys turning on his heels, he took (Y/n) guiding her over to the man who checks for the badges. Hop clicked his tongue already feeling the long day and night he's going to have. Victor patted his back understanding what was to come, "It'll be fine... For me that is"

Victor teased sticking his tongue out when Hop glared at him, he trailed behind the moving group. Just when he was about to show the man his collected badges a familiar voice called out to them making their way to them.

"Bede, you made it"

(Y/n) peeked from Raihan's arm lightly pushing it away. The boy proudly scoffed brushing his fluffy curls away from his face.

"Of course I did, with my skills, it would be an insult if I didn't"

Hop squinted his eyes at him as he did this rolling his eyes when he made eye contact with him.

"I see you made it as well, Kabu must have been having a slow moment when it was your turn"

Hop irked angrily smirking at him responding with the same retort. Victor can sense the electrical energy the two boys were shooting at each other coming between them. He congratulated the blonde for his efforts wanting to shift the environment away from the deadly air.

Unfortunately, that wasn't in his favor.

Bede continued to poke at Hop questioning how he and his team managed to get by, and Hop being himself added gas to the already growing flames.

"My team is better than yours ever will be!"

"Oh? Are you challenging me?"

Before anyone could say anything Hop shouted yes, Bede laughed gesturing to the open space.

"Well then let's have it, consider this good practice for my Pokemon"

Bede smirked stunting away Hop growled marching behind him. Victor made a quick grab of the fuming male questioning what he was doing. Honestly not even Hop knows what he was doing, but just the look on Bede's face.

The one that looks down on him like he was lower than the gravel he walks over, it infuriates him. Victor made him remember their last encounter in the cave.
