Chapter 12: The Accident

Jude's POV
While I was laying on my bed, Callie came running upstairs and told me to get to the car. Once I got in the car I noticed that Lena's eyes were puffy and red. I tried asking Callie where we were going and what was happening, but all she did was hold me tightly. I finally realized where we were going. We were on our way to the hospital.

Once I realized we were heading towards the hospital I prepared myself for the worst. Once we go to the hospital we came to an abrupt stop and we quickly got out of the car. When we entered the building Stef and Brandon came running towards us. They both hugged all of us tightly while they both cried.

After they stopped hugging us I asked why we were here and Stef told me that Ana, Jesus and Mariana were all in a car accident. Once I heard those words my stomach sank. I started crying while Lena hugged me.
"Jude, it's okay. Everything is gonna be okay. They're gonna be fine. Don't worry." Lena said with a soothing voice.
Although I wanted to believe her I just knew this time she was wrong.

After about 2 hours in the waiting room, a doctor came out. He told us that Ana was okay but she had lost the baby, Mariana was okay but unconscious, but that Jesus was in surgery. He told us that there was a 40% percent chance he would pull through.
We all start crying and sobbing again.

Before the doctor left he told us we could see Mariana one by one. I volunteered to go first. The doctor led me to her door and I step inside.

When I went inside I seen a bunch of machines hooked up to her. I went up to her and held her hands and spoke to her.
"Mariana. Some people say that when some is unconscious they can still hear you..... You're a great sister. You're one of the most caring people I know. I wanted to tell you that I want you to keep pushing. You're a strong independent woman who doesn't give up without a fight. I want you to fight Mariana. Please. Fight for us." I kissed her forehead and started crying. After, I got up and left.

We wait for another 3 hours in the waiting room until finally the doctor comes out and by the look on his face it's not good. We all go up to him. He tells us that Jesus didn't make during surgery. That's when my world start collapsing around me once again.
