Jude's POV
I walk out of cafeteria to go find Connor. When I spot him out I see him with Daria and Taylor. When I see them together I start to feel a little jealous. Daria calls me over.
Once I'm there she starts talking about a new chick flick called, "Bright Lights". She asks me and Connor if we would like to go. Connor says, "Sure"
I just say no and lie that I have a lot of homework to do. Connor gives me a confused look. Daria gives me a sad face and says okay. She gets up and says that her and Taylor and have to go to the bathroom before class. Taylor just gets up and follows her. Me and Connor just sit in silence before he speaks.
"Why are you lying about having a lot of homework" Connor says
I say " No I'm not, I do have a lot of homework."
He just gives me a serious face. I just end up finishing my lunch and getting up and leaving.
