They played for a couple of hours more until their fun got interrupted by Tony's phone ringing. After he was done talking he looked at her.

"Hey, I got to go over to the diner. That was Michelle, apparently her purse got locked up in the office and it has her keys to lock up the diner in it."

"How did her purse get locked in there?"

"When she first came in, she was in there talking to me and must have set her purse down and forgot to get it when she walked out."

"Ah okay."

"So come on, you're coming with me."

"No, I'm going to stay here and maybe get some shut eye."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure, don't worry about me Tony, I'll be fine. Now go boy."

Tony left so Stella went upstairs, changed clothes then laid down on the bed to watch television but fell asleep. She got woke up by someone opening the door but she figured it was either MacKenzie or Tony coming into check on her.

She stretched as she said, "I'm fine, just trying to sleep."

The person that was there didn't say anything just shut the door back. Stella shrugged and decided to try to go back to sleep thinking they had left since it was dark in the room because the television had gotten shut off.

"Hi Stella."

She sat up quickly, "Who is that? Who are you?"

"That's for me to know, but you have a pretty voice when you sing. Too bad no one will hear it again."

"Who are you?" She struggled to try to turn the bedside lamp on.

"Don't you worry your pretty little head about who I am."

They rushed over and knocked the lamp off the table. They then jumped onto her and started attacking her.

"Stop! Get off of me!" She screamed.

"No! You deserve this you stupid bitch!"

Stella was fighting with them and she punched them in the face. She used all her strength to push them off of her then ran downstairs. When she got into the living room, MacKenzie and Lucas was walking into the house.

Mackenzie seen the look on her face and quickly walked over, "Sweetie what's wrong?"

"Someone started attacking me, luckily I got away." Stella breathed out.

Lucas told them he would go check out the house so the girls stayed in the living room. While he was doing that, Stella urged MacKenzie to tell her about the date to distract her mind so she did.

A few minutes later Lucas came back and said that someone did break in. He then decided to call the police because whoever broke in had cut themselves. Luckily it didn't take them long to get there.

"Miss Grace, I'm Detective Johnson. Want to explain to me in your own words what happened here tonight?"

"Yeah." She nodded, "Well, this last week that I have been back in town I have had someone stalking me about my past."

She then went on to explain the events that night. How Tony and her were hanging out until he had to go to the diner and that she didn't want to go so she went upstairs to sleep. That she didn't know how long she had been asleep when someone came into the room which woke her up. She told him that she just thought it was MacKenzie or Tony checking on her.

Then the next thing she knew she was being attacked. After fighting with whoever it was, she finally managed to get away and when she came downstairs, MacKenzie and Lucas was walking into the house.

"So you didn't hear this attacker break into the house?" Johnson asked.

"No, sadly I didn't. Earlier in the evening Tony and me were in the basement playing music until he got called to the diner."

"Okay, well I have my men checking out where the prep broke in."

"Oh, when Lucas and me were almost here, there was a vehicle parked on the side of the road. Lucas said it seemed a little suspicious since it was stopped next to an empty lot." MacKenzie told the Detective as she pointed to the direction of the vehicle while Lucas agreed.

"Was it a black truck?" He asked.

"Yes sir." Lucas nodded.

"We saw it. As I was coming on it, the person ducked quickly so I had one of the officers check it out."

Just then one of the officers walked up to the Detective, "Detective Johnson, we was able to get a blood sample from the broken glass and so one of the other officers took it to the lab immediately."

Just then Tony stormed into the house, "Is everything okay? What happened?"

"Yes Tony, there was a break in and someone attacked me but I'm okay fortunately." Stella assured him.

"Nothing else seems messed with so whoever came into this house had their mind set on Stella." One of the officers said.

"Damnit!" Tony breathed out, "I knew you should have came to the diner with me."

About an hour later the police left after they got all the information they could. They told them they were still looking for Aiden and Madison and that they also said they had some leads on the case so they were going to check them out.

Stella knew she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep and everyone understood. Tony and Lucas cleaned up the glass then fixed the window as best as they could. Lucas then left a half hour after they were done.

Stella urged MacKenzie and Tony to go to bed but they both refused so she gave up trying knowing she wouldn't win the battle with them.

"I think I'm going to give up and leave town. Maybe then whoever is holding Aiden and Madison hostage will let them go." She said as she brought her knees to her chest.

"You sure you want to leave?" Tony asked.

"No I really don't but I'm tired of all of this shit happening and anyways I need to check on the apartment."

"Stella, we live together so I've had my parents check on the apartment for us."

"Yeah but I want to do that myself. Plus what about rent? We'll have to pay it soon."

"I already wired some money from my account to the apartment manager."

"MacKenzie! You didn't have to. I mean it's my job as a roommate to help with that stuff."

"I know but I wanted to. I don't mind doing that every now and then. How about this? Next time rent is due, a way to pay me back is you pay the whole amount. That a good deal?"

"Yes, it is a good deal. So next month you are not helping me pay rent."

"Then it's settled."

They chatted for a little while longer then slowly they all fell asleep in the living room. Stella kept constantly waking up, whether it was from a bad dream, hearing a noise from outside or typical old house noise.
