Gone Without Goodbye

Chapter 30

Stella did her hair then put her dress on. She then grabbed her shoes and walked downstairs.

"Aiden! I'm ready!" She called out, she didn't notice if he was home before she got ready.

She looked through out the house for him but had no luck. She then walked into the living room and noticed the note so she read it.

"Stella, dad needed me to come over early to help him with something. So when you are ready go ahead and come on over to dad's place. Sorry sis, love Aiden."

She shook her head smiling, "Oh great I should have came into the living room first then I wouldn't have wasted time looking for him."

She put on her dress shoes, grabbed her stuff and went to her car. But once she got in, she took her shoes off so she could drive better. She got to her dad's house 5 minutes later then walked up and rang the doorbell.

Mrs. Fitzgerald answered the door and looked at her, "Hello Stella, my don't you look beautiful. Come on in, they are waiting for you hon."

"Thank you, but am I late?" She asked as she walked in.

"No, you're not. Dinner isn't ready yet so you still have time."

"Oh okay, where is everyone?"

"They are in the entertainment room."

Stella nodded and walked to the room that Mrs. Fitzgerald said they were in. But once she walked in, all her friends and family jumped up and yelled, 'Surprise' to her.

"Oh my God!" She exclaimed, "What is all of this?"

"A surprise party duh." Mackenzie giggled as she walked over to her.

"What about the formal dinner that dad was having?"

"There wasn't one, that was just a ploy to get you here in that dress." Aiden told her.

"We figured that since you never got a super 16th party then we would throw you one now. Even though you're turning 25 now so we can call this your super 24th birthday party instead of sweet 16th party." Walker had explained.

"Awe you guys, that's so sweet of you all. Whose idea was this?"

"It was my idea." Shane stepped out where she could see him, "It popped into my head so I came to your dad and told him about it and he thought that it was an excellent idea."

"Oh." Was all Stella's reaction was.

"Let's have some fun. Forget whose idea it was." Tony grinned, "We know you wanna."

"Yes, let's have some fun." Stella agreed.

"Okay, well I have a huge surprise for Stella. I actually had Mackenzie's help with this one. So everyone go on out back and let's see what it is." Walker stated.

Stella looked confused as she walked out back with everyone and they all seen a stage set up. Walker walked to the microphone and spoke into it.

"I know you're a huge fan of music Stella, so of course, I wanted to have a live band play here tonight. And to pick out a band, I called upon Miss Mackenzie here to help me out. So Stella, give a warm welcome to...Good Charlotte."

"Oh my God! Oh my God!" Stella shrieked happily, "This is my favorite band in the whole world!"

"That's what Mackenzie said." Walker chuckled as the band walked onto the stage.

"Happy Birthday Stella!" Joel, the lead singer of the band told her.

"Thank you!"

The band began to perform and everyone began to dance along. After playing a few songs one of the members, Benji, decided to speak into the microphone he had been using.
