The next day, the girls took the guys site seeing. The guys had told them how they had never been to Brooklyn before but have only seen it on television. Stella has said that seeing it in person was totally different and way better than seeing it on t.v to which they agreed with her on that comment.
They spent the whole day site seeing and when Stella got the chance she slipped away to buy a pregnancy test. Of course when she came back, the guys questioned where she went so she held up some chocolate that she had also bought for an excuse as to why she stepped away saying she wanted some chocolate.
"Sucks that you're gonna have to go back to work." Lucas playfully whined once they got back to the apartment.
"I know, but can't just quit, well I can but that wouldn't look good on me. I need to go in and give my two weeks notice."
"Yeah, I understand that." He nodded.
"You better." She smirked and lightly pinched him.
"Hey now, that wasn't very nice." He then started tickling her.
Just then Stella walked back into the living room from her bedroom and seen them.
"Okay you two, you have a bedroom to do that stuff on." She joked.
"We're just wrestling." Lucas chuckled.
"Oh, is that what they're calling it now a days?" Stella smirked and Lucas stuck his tongue out at her, "Hey, don't stick it out unless you plan on using it."
Lucas smirked and licked the side of MacKenzie's face, "There I used it."
"Ewe." Both girls said in unison.
Just then Shane came into the living room holding up the pregnancy test, "What is this, I mean why do you have it?"
"Uh, well, you do know what those are for right?"
"Well duh, I do. I mean, I well, I take it you think you might be pregnant?"
"Why are you even going through my purse?"
Joel then acted like he was cutting into something, making MacKenzie giggle and playfully slapping him.
"It fell off the bed so as I was picking it up I noticed this had fallen out." He looked over at Joel with raised eyebrows.
Stella looked to see what he was looking at, "What the hell are you doing?" She beat Shane to the question.
"Cutting the tension and awkwardness that has built up in this room."
Shane shook his head with a small chuckle, "You're such a dork man."
"Yes, you are." Stella agreed, "But we love you anyways."
"I know." Lucas grinned then got serious, "So, do you really think you're pregnant?"
"Think, yes." She nodded slowly.
"Holy shit, so that means we will be having a baby together? And this time we will get to keep him or her." Shane smiled.
Stella bit her bottom lip, "Well see, I got that and I'm also going to the doctors to check. I've got some questions and concerns."
"Like what?" Shane asked with raised eyebrows.
Before Stella could answer Lucas piped up while pointing to her, "Ewe! Because you and my brother, I mean our brother since we found out that's you're actually our sister, ewe."
"What are you talking about?" MacKenzie questioned.
"Uh the night in D.C and then now she thinks she's pregnant and has questions and concerns about it." He used air quotes around 'questions and concerns'.
"Wait a minute." Shane put up his hand slightly, "You mean to tell me that you think you might be pregnant and that it might not be mine? That the baby could be Benny's baby?"
Stella didn't say anything but rushed to the bathroom then started puking up what felt like her guts into the toilet. Shane started to go after her but MacKenzie stopped him and went after her.
"I'm going to find out how soon I can do a blood test for DNA if I am pregnant." Stella stated after she washed out her mouth.
"And what if you find out that it's not Shane's? What are you going to do then?"
She put her fingers on her temples, "Abortion crossed my mind, as horrible as that is. I can't have this baby if its Benny's, because everytime I look at it, all that's going to go through my mind is, this is my brothers baby. That my brother is this baby's daddy. And I don't want that."
"Well, it's not like you knew he was your brother at the time."
"Yes I know that, but that doesn't matter. Gah and I'm going to have to explain that to so many people."
"Don't tell them the truth."
Stella shook her head, "I can't live through another lie like that and I certainly can't put Shane through that." She sighed.
As soon as she was done talking, there was a knock on the door from Shane.
"Babe, you okay in there?"
Stella looked at MacKenzie and mouthed, "I wonder how much of that he heard."
She mouthed back while shrugging her shoulders, "I don't know."
Shane was getting ready to say something else but Stella spoke up, "Uh yeah, I'm as fine as I can be under the circumstances."
Stella opened the door some, seen him still holding the test so she took it from him.
"I'll take that." She shut the door before he could say anything, she then looked at MacKenzie, "I guess I should take this. You staying in here?"
"If you want me to."
"Doesn't matter to me." She shrugged, "But you ain't sitting there on the tub while I pee."
"Yeah." She said slowly, "I'll stand over here." She got up and stood by the door.
Stella took the test then after she was done she sighed, "Now we wait."
"Yup." MacKenzie nodded.
"We should take the guys to Hipsters tonight." She said to pass the time.
Mackenzie raised an eyebrow, "Can they get in? Aren't they too old?"
"Hello, look who they are with."
"Yeah, true, I mean you are the owner and all."
"Well yeah, but shh." She put her finger to her mouth.
"Don't want them to know." MacKenzie whispered.
Stella shook her head, "Plus John, the guy that runs it, would love to buy it so I think I might let him."
"Why?"
"Well, if we're moving to Maryland then no point in me still owning it."
"Ah, true."
Stella then looked at her phone, "Well, it's time." She then looked at the stick.
When she didn't say anything, MacKenzie asked, "Well? What does it say?"
Stella took a deep breath, "It's says, I'm not pregnant."
"Wow." MacKenzie breathed out, "Well then it could be like I had said, it could be stress, and that can mess up your system."
"Yeah and we all know that I've been under lots of it."
"Exactly."
"But still going to the doctors just to see because sometimes at home ones can be wrong." Stella stood up, "Let's go tell the guys."
When the girls came out of the bathroom, the guys instantly asked if she was pregnant. Stella told them that it was negative and that she was still going to the doctors for a second opinion.
They then suggested to the guys about going to a club to which the guys thought that could be fun. So they then they all got ready and left. Stella almost wanted to flag down a cab to take them to the club but decided to go ahead and take her car.
