MEET BRITTNI brittni-anderson on WATTPAD
Hello! I'm Brittni, formerly known under the pseudonym Katelyn McKelle, but now brittni-anderson on Wattpad. I grew up in small towns in the western U.S., but mostly in the middle of nowhere Nevada. Since moving out, I've frequented big cities, though I decidedly hate parking in them.
I've been writing since I was a child. I have notebooks full of stories of princesses, dragons, princes, and damsels in distress from when I was like five. Luckily, I've progressed past the damsel in distress phase of my life and now write books with strong female leads who kick butt and take names, not necessarily in that order. I write mostly fantasy and scifi, but I always love adding some swoon-worthy romance into the mix.
I became a Wattpad Star in late 2020, after submitting my passion project to the Wattys. Though I didn't win and have since removed the story from Wattpad (I am in the process of editing for querying), I am still an active member of the Wattpad community. I'm a Watty's 2018 longlister. I love the Wattpad community: the hidden gems, the sweeping tales, and the people you meet along the way.
I'm constantly reading, writing, and studying, but when I'm not, I'm traveling as much as my small budget and time can allow.
Some of my favorite books are An Ember in the Ashes (if you haven't read this series, go read it!), Bone Criers Moon, Harry Potter (I'm a Gryffindor), The Inheritance Games, and Legendborn.
Some of my favorite movies are Knives Out, any Marvel movies, Wonder Woman, and Beauty and the Beast.
Favorite shows include Castle, White Collar, The Flash, Shadow and Bone, and a Discovery of Witches.
