MEET SG OwlieCat on WATTPAD
I'm OwlieCat on Wattpad, and I love to read and write stories with LGBTQ+ characters in multiple genres.
I've always loved to write, but I never completed a novel until I started posting on Wattpad. My 2019 NaNoWriMo project was my first book, and went on to win a Watty in 2020. It was accepted to the Paid Stories program the same year.
My favorite genres are LGBT romance, paranormal, supernatural, mystery, thriller, and creature-feature style horror.
Some of my favorite books, series, and authors include H.P. Lovecraft, Sherlock Holmes, J. R. R Tolkien, Dracula, Frankenstein, and E.M. Forster, The Girl with all the Gifts, The Shining, Paradise Lost, Jurassic Park, and Jordan L. Hawk.
When I'm not writing, I work as a research librarian, doing my best to teach undergrads how to use Boolean logic. In my free time, I enjoy reading and gardening. I also enjoy learning about paleontology, geology, astronomy, and deep time.
