I am starting to get ready for the wedding. The guys have been teasing me about not being able to stay away from Payton for a night. I can't help it though. I feel calm and relaxed knowing she is safe at night and is comfortable while she sleeps. I think back to how far her and I have come getting us to this day.
After showering and getting dressed, I sit near the ledge of the window looking out over the compound land. At the end of the day, Payton Snow Parker Uley, will become Payton Snow Uley Whitlock. Her and I spoke about the last name and getting rid of the Parker name. She told me she loved her former parents for the giving her life, but they were not involved much and would rather remember Sam and Emily.
As I am sitting there lost in my thoughts, I am brought out of them by Sam approaching me. He looked like he had just been crying.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Oh yeah. I just saw my daughter and she is beautiful. Just wait an see." He says.
"I cannot wait. I have waited for this day for so long that I am ready for her to be my wife and I her husband."
"You promise to not break my daughter again? I am struggling knowing I have to hand her off to you here soon." He says.
"Sam, I promise I will never be letting her go again. And if I for whatever reason break that promise, I give you permission to kill me." I tell him firmly to get my point across.
He just nods his head and pats my back walking out. It wasn't long until Embry came in. He was nervous and pacing. His emotions were everywhere.
"Embry what is going on?"
"I need to ask you something and I know it is yours and Payton's wedding day but I need to ask." He says. I nod my head for him to continue. "At the reception I want to propose to Peter whenever the gater toss happens or bouquet toss happens. I know this day is about you two, but I really want to propose to him." He blurts out nervously.
"Embry. Take a breath before you pass out please. And yes I am okay with that. I know Payton will be too. She loves you and Peter so much. Plus she loves sharing days with her twin. So she will be excited." I tell him sending waves of calmness to him."
He eventually sat down and was calm. "You excited?" He asked.
"More than excited." I tell him.

It is now time for the ceremony to start. Me and the guys walk up to our places. Tony is marrying us. Payton wanted him involved somehow other than paying for everything.
I am now standing there nervous as ever when the music starts. Everyone was blocking me from see her, but when she came into view I swear I felt my dead heart begin to flutter. She truly looked so beautiful. Venom pools up in my eyes the closer she gets to me. She looked so breath takingly gorgeous.
The closer she got I could see the tears in her eyes as well as she smiled at me. Peter kissed her cheek and let go. Sam kissed her cheek as well but struggled a little bit to let her go. "Take care of my girl." He tells me. I nod my head and take her hand.
Tony soon started the ceremony. "Thank you all for coming today as we celebrate the Union of Jasper Whitlock Hale and Payton Uley." The more he spoke I drowned him out too busy taking in every detail of how Payton looked.
It was now time for the vows and I was brought back to reality when it was my time to go. "Payton Snow. Watching you spill coffee everywhere the day we met was the best thing to happen to me. I had gone a long time feeling like a monster and was losing hope I would ever find the perfect girl. Then here you came full speed ahead into me quite literally. As time went on fates brought us back together and I was so happy to finally get a chance with you. My darling snow, I know it hasn't been easy for us but here we are today with our friends and family finally getting married. Thank you for giving me another chance to love you and be yours again. I cannot imagine my life without you again. You make me laugh, smile, and sometimes annoyed or aggravated but I wouldn't change it for anything. It is you that i will forever want. I promise to always be there for you, never run away when times get tough, make you laugh when you have a bad day, hold you when you crying, and always keep you smiling. I promise to be faithful, loyal, respectful, and give you my unconditional love. You are the love of my life Payton Snow. I am so glad that today, we get to start our forever. I love you my darlin'." I tell her while wiping her tears away.
"Okay Payton, your turn." Tony says.
"Jasper. Oh that sweet southern drawl had me at "apologies ma'am" when I ran into you. I did not have the greatest up bringing either and thought love would never exists for me. And yet here I was running into it. Moving to Forks was probably the best thing I could have ever done. I found another family and I found you. We haven't had to easiest run in our relationship but it takes work. Facing everything we have, has brought us closer than we ever thought was possible. You are my everything cowboy and the love of my life. You know how to make me smile, calm me down, help me process things, and most importantly, you showed me how to love and what love is. And you made me fall head over heels hard for you cowboy. I promise today in front of our friends and family to be the best wife that I can for you. I promise to help you in your struggles, comfort you in times of need, make your bad days good and good days better, and most importantly I promise to always annoy you just to keep you on your toes!" She says making me chuckle. "Jasper today starts our forever, and I promise to always be by your side, faithfully, truthfully, and unconditionally. I love you my cowboy." She finishes placing her hand on my cheek causing me to lean into it.
We soon exchanged our vows and it was time to pronounce us as husband and wife. "By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Jasper you may kiss your bride." Tony says.
I pull her close and place a soft passionate deep kiss on her lips while dipping her back. "I love you my wife"
"Mmm I love you my husband" she says.
"It brings me great pleasure to announce to you Mr and Mrs Jasper Whitlock Hale"
