Payton and I were getting ready when I heard my phone going off. I looked down to see Peter was calling me. (Peter, Jasper)
"Hello?"
"Hey. Is Payton around?"
"No she is getting ready for our date. What's up?"
"Had a problem happen here. Edward and Bella broke into the house to try and find where Payton was. They were also planning on trying to kidnap me to make Payton do what they wanted. Carlisle pretty much kicked him out and disowned him. The pack was getting ready to kill Edward and Bella, but he got her out of there quickly and lost them."
I couldn't help by growl. This shit is getting annoying. I just wish it would stop. Edward shouldn't have brought her into this world but no. The golden child gets everything he wanted and now it's kicked everyone in the ass from his mistake.
"Okay, I will discuss all of this with Payton later. Thank you for calling. Tell everyone we said hello and miss them" i say. I finished getting ready for our date.
It wasn't much longer until Payton came out and ready to go. It was nice outside today so we decided to walk. Thanks to the necklace, I am now able to enjoy any kind of day with Payton and not be in fear.
"So today is going to be filled with lots of fun and laughter with what I have planned. First, where it all started. The coffee shop. Then we will be headed over to that arcade place you and Peter went to. I got all all access passes for it ahead of time so we will be spending another one of our dates there. Just like we did on that weekend getaway we had while back." I say.
She looks up at me and smiles and is all giddy. "Oh I can't wait. That place has so much more things to do than the one we went to. It's going to be so much fun!" She says latching onto my arm as we walk to the coffee shop.
As we get there, Payton goes up and orders her drink. Once she gets it she comes and sits back down with me. "I've been debating on whether or not to tell you this but I got a call from Peter before we left. Apparently Edward and Bella broke in your house trying to find where you went and was planning on taking Peter to get you to do what they want. I guess Carlisle showed up and had enough and kicked Edward out of the coven. The pack was getting ready to attack but him and Bella took off and they chased him but lost them." I tell her.
She takes another drink and leans back in her seat and lets out a sign. "Okay. Well as long as Peter is with the pack he will be safe. I'm irritated with Edward and Bella. This is getting annoying and flat out petty on their part. If they aren't careful they will push me over the edge to where I kill them." She says.
"I know darlin'. Are you wanting to go back home soon or continue to stay here?" I asked.
"Honestly, I've really loved being here and with you. I'd like to stay till at least the new year maybe?" She says.
"Of course if that's what you want. We can stay longer and keep doing missions." I say.
We continue talking for a little bit longer till she finishes her drink. After she is done we start heading to the next place on our list. The arcade.
She is practically jumping up and down with excitement as we approach the place. We did all the outside activities first saving the inside for when was darker.
We did every game of mini golf and I destroyed her in every game. So of course she was pouting until I gave her some kisses and let her win the last game we did.
Now we are doing go-cart racing. She's laughing and having the time of her life. I tired not to laugh when she wrecked some kid in a race. I could feel his ego being busted.
"You could've been a little nicer to him and let him win. He's a kid." I say.
"Hey. It's fair game here no matter the age. Plus it'll build character getting beat by a girl." She says making me laugh.
We stopped for a little bit to get her something to eat. Watching her be so relaxed and happy brought me so much joy.
"Okay what do you want to do next?" I asked her.
"Laser tag!" She says. "It's easy to pick up." She says.
After she throws her trash away we go inside to the laser tag room and get ready for a game. As we go in, we instantly notice a bunch of little kids in side. She looks over at me with a smirk.
"You thinking what I'm think?" She asks.
Oh boy. I know I shouldn't team up on the kids but fuck it. "Let's do it!" I say.
We get our vests/laser gun and let the games begin. We split up and started getting kids out left and right. Soon it was down to us and we eventually turned on each other. It's times like these I wish I could hear her heart beat. Because her scent is everywhere so I cannot pin it to one spot. It also doesn't help she's an assassin so my chances are low. I'm looking everywhere for this girl and then suddenly she jumps out of no where and shots me causing me a let out a small scream. I normally don't caught off guard but this time I did. She's now on the floor laughing at me from scaring me.
She stands up and whispers to me "Poor vampire got scared by the assassin. My poor cowboy." She says with a pout then laughing again. I just shake my head and walk out the door pouting. She starts laughing even harder at my child like state.
We ended up playing a few games of bowling and some of the arcade games. With all my tickets I was able to get her a stiff animal polar bear. She was a giggling mess when I handed it to her. Before we left for the evening she insisted on going to the photo booth to get pictures together. I can't tell her no so here I am being dragged into this booth with her.
After all is said and done, we started walking home. It was a cool evening, so we didn't take our time getting home so she wouldn't be super cold. Once we got inside it didn't take her long to crash for the night. My cute little assassin so worn out from acting like a kid all day. But it was such a wonderful date. I start thinking more about wanting to marry her but first I need to get the ring.
