Stiles traced the claim mark on his neck with his fingers as he looked in the bathroom mirror and smiled. He bit his lip to hold back a happy giggle but couldn't resist doing a happy dance as he tugged on a red t-shirt, black boxer briefs, dark wash jeans and his converse. "Derek?"
Derek smiled as he turned the page of his book. "In the living room, Little Fox."
Stiles grinned as he hurried down the stairs and made his way into the living room. He plopped down on the couch by Derek's feet and watched him expectantly. Derek glanced at him over his book and quirked his eyebrow in question. Stiles gently took the book from the alpha's hands and set it aside before looking at Derek again. "I have an idea."
"Oh?" Derek smiled as he beckoned Stiles closer. "Do tell me what your idea is. Red is absolutely your color."
Stiles blushed lightly and moved closer. "Thank you. I had hoped that you would like it. So, I know we sort of did things out of order but I—" He paused and took a deep breath. "Derek, my alpha, would you go out with me?" he asked, his tone hopeful.
Derek's heart swelled and his ears turned red. "You mean out like on a date?" Derek was so shy, so careful not to show just how badly he wanted it, but no one said the alpha always had to be tough and omegas don't always have to be meek.
Stiles nodded vigorously. "Yes! I want to take you on a date, and I have the perfect plan."
"Is that so?" Derek chuckled at Stiles's enthusiasm.
"Yep," the omega replied, popping the p. "See there's a small county fair nearby and I think it would be so fun to do. You know, like we can play the games, go on the rides, listen to the music, inhale all that yummy greasy food and just all those things and more. I-I haven't been to a fair in a very long time, but I think it could be a lot of fun and we could just relax just the two of us," he explained. "Please?"
Derek tilted his head, pretending to consider it. "Hmm."
Stiles batted his eyelashes and swiped his tongue across his bottom lip in a nervous gesture. "Please, Der?"
"Well, I better get ready then," Derek answered, laughing at the megawatt smile that replaced Stiles's pouty lips. Derek pecked a kiss on the omega's lips, got up and headed upstairs to get ready.
Stiles grinned ear to ear and jiggled his leg as he waited for Derek to come back downstairs.
🐺⋅☆⋅🦊
Derek loved his Camaro and that was pretty obvious by the shape it was in. Stiles surveyed the interior curiously. He hadn't gotten to see much of it either time he had been in it. "This car is insanely badass. You could be either a super villain or like—Oh shit!" Stiles looked at Derek with wide eyes. "You have those glasses and so you could totally be Superman but with this car is like the greatest mixtape of two superheroes or you could totally be Batman! Damn! Okay. That's awesome," he said in a rush of excitement.
Derek couldn't help letting out a hearty laugh. "Well, you did tell me when we first met that I said something every villain in the history of villains says according to the comics."
Stiles's cheeks flushed. "Yeah, that was my nerves speaking for me. I mean, when I'm nervous or I'm faced with someone as gorgeous as you, my brain to mouth filter starts to disappear. I personally think you should tell people you are Batman but like you have to do the voice when you inform them."
"The voice?" Derek asked in confusion.
Stiles gaped at the alpha and put his hand on his heart in mock outrage. "You don't know about the voice? It's...I'm Batman!" Stiles said, demonstrating the deepening of his voice.
