Sullyoon filled a box with 548 short letters, and she also knitted a cozy chunky blanket for you. The number of letters represents the number of days that she has known you until she told Haewon about her intention of confessing to you. The content of the short letters was her insights about you each day. It took her months to complete. 

She gave all these to you and told you about her feelings for you during a supposed friendly home date that you had with her. Putting the word 'supposed' before the adjective: friendly was a necessity. It is because that you ended up becoming a couple during that night, and it became a romantic home date.

When the two of you informed Haewon about it, she said that she is happy for the two of you with what seemed to be a wistful smile. 

In the first full year of exclusively dating Sullyoon, your days were filled with wines and roses. You cannot really pinpoint having a bad day with her. Every single day that you got to spend time with her seemed to send you to bliss. 

Shortly after celebrating your first anniversary, the two of you had your first major argument. It all rooted from Sullyoon's jealousy over your bandmate, Eunjoo, whom you were spending a lot of time with these days. You had a reason for doing so. This bandmate of yours is the songwriter for your songs, while you are the composer. The two of you were working closely together for the band's first mini album for your first ever comeback. Your band happened to debut with a single album only. Unlike before, in which you and Eunjoo only had to prepare two songs, the two of you had to prepare at least five tracks this time.

With Sullyoon's mind clouded with jealousy, communicating with her was deemed to be challenging. What makes it even harder for you to iron things out between the two of you is the distance. Your set-up with her right now is long-distance, because Sullyoon and the girls were on their first tour as NMIXX. 

As of the moment, the girls were staying in the Philippines for their 2-day concert there. As soon as you and Eunjoo were able to turn in your deliverables to the higher-ups, you quickly booked a flight to get there. You cannot stand being not on good terms with your girl anymore.

You told Haewon about it.

"Your dedication to settle things between the two of you is really mind-blowing. I'm sure that Sullyoon cannot stay frustrated or mad at you the moment that she knew that you flew all the way here just to patch things up." Haewon expressed while leading you to the room where Sullyoon was staying and dragging your luggage with her.

"Crazy things that love can make you do." You just responded. The two of you chuckled among yourselves. 

"Sullyoon is sharing the room with Yunjin. Don't you worry, I can make her stay with Kyujin at least for the night, so that you can have your girl all for yourself." Haewon looked at you knowingly while wiggling her eyebrows. You looked at her with widened eyes. She just chortled, eventually standing before a door.

"By the way, this is their room already. Are you ready?" Haewon glanced at you, taking out the spare key card that would unlock the only thing that keeps you apart from your girl at this point.

You nodded eagerly. Haewon smiled at this as she pressed the key card against the reader or scanner on the door. When she saw that the indicator stated that the scanning had been successful, Haewon held onto the knob and turned it open. 

"Sullyoon, someone flew all the way here just to see you!" Haewon excitedly said, grinning from ear to ear. She opened the door all the way.

You expected that Sullyoon would be surprised in a good way. You weren't wrong on that. Indeed, you got her surprised but not the way that you thought. The sight that welcomed you also got you surprised but in a bad way. It made your heart shatter into pieces.

You just caught Sullyoon kissing Jinni. 

"Choi Yunjin! Seol Yoona! What's the meaning of this?!" Haewon growled with her jaw clenched and her teeth gritted. 

"The two of you are unbelievable..." You grumbled, exchanging glances with Jinni and Sullyoon with all the angry tears forming on your eyes. Neither of them can look you in the eye. Eventually, you stared down at Sullyoon.

"Especially you! If you just know how restless the past few days have been for me, I cannot stand it with you being upset with me. It was keeping me up all night. I was so worried for you. I was always wondering if you ate right and if you slept well, because I cannot get you to talk to me!" You paused, looking down at Jinni with your eyebrows quirking disbelievingly for a moment.

 "It turns out that you have someone else, that is why you are holding up so well." 

You returned your gaze back on Sullyoon after that.

"I flew all the way here with the hope of mending our relationship. It turns out that I would be ending it instead." 

This made Sullyoon regain her courage to look at you and her voice to finally speak.

"Hold that thought! Let me explain, Y/N, please-" 

"Oh, is there any plausible explanation behind this?" You scoffed, letting out a dry laugh with the tears which were now flowing down your face.

"I know, I know. There wouldn't be an acceptable reason that can justify my actions. After all, I allowed my jealousy to cloud over my judgment and to take over me. I sought validation from someone which I should not have done. I regret everything. Please don't break up with me, Y/N..." Sullyoon pleaded, kneeling right in front of you and holding your hands tight. You can feel that she was trembling. 

"I'm begging you." 

"I'm so sorry, Yoona. But... I don't think that I can ever trust you again due to this, what is a relationship without trust? It is bound to fall apart. I'm doing us a favor. We would save a lot of time." You moved her hands off you, walking out of the room. Despite you leaving, Sullyoon remained kneeling there. From where you were, you can hear her sobs. Jinni tried to comfort her, but she pushed her away.

"I made the wrong choice." Haewon muttered, looking down at Sullyoon while shaking her head slowly. 

"If I only knew, I should have confessed to Y/N! If I only knew, I should have not given way to you! I thought that she would be in good hands with you!" Haewon yelled out of resentment, bending slightly to grip on Sullyoon's shirt, specifically on the region near her neck. She was holding herself so hard to not hit the younger. 

"W-What? Y-you have feelings for Y/N as well?" Sullyoon stammered, eyes widening from this confession from Haewon.

"Yes, you heard it right! I have feelings for her. I see you as my younger sister, so I gave way to you. I wanted you to be happy even if it would take my own happiness! I thought that I knew you so well. That is why I had the trust in you that you would take good care of her! Now, I regret everything. How foolish for me to believe that you are after a long-term commitment with her."

"I am-"

"You are not because if you were, then you should have not cheated on her!"

Sullyoon was silenced by this, sobbing harder. Then, Haewon released her grip on Sullyoon, standing properly.

"This time around, I would be pursuing her. I won't make the same mistake that I've made in the past."
