a/n: angst, possessive Bucky...smut.
yeah, I didn't intend it but then it just appeared. Like a super horny surprise.
translation- Джеймс: James
Bucky runs off the elevator, calling for Mara. His heart is pounding, a sick feeling in his stomach again. Peter isn't far behind, pulling off his suit in the middle of the living room. He can't stand wearing it, covered in someone else's blood. Yelena jumps up from the couch as Bucky enters, blue eyes blazing as they meet her green ones. Kate throws Peter a shirt and drags him to the kitchen to help him clean off. Bucky realizes Sam must have called them too.
"Where is she?" Bucky keeps looking around, like Mara is going to appear from behind a chair or in a doorway. He doesn't miss the look Kate and Yelena share across the room.
Bucky is inches from Yelena in two strides, looming over her with his fists bunched by his side. His voice is a low growl, reminding Bucky of someone that he used to be.
"Yelena. Where?"
"She went out to dinner."
"Where? With who?"
Yelena hesitates.
"YELENA!" Bucky yells at her, causing Kate to jump.
Yelena doesn't budge. She clenches her jaw, narrowing her eyes at the super soldier.
"Barnes, watch your fucking tone with me. I told you, she went to dinner. She went out with that FBI guy Alexander over in Midtown."
"Send me the address. Now."
Bucky turns on his heels to leave as Yelena grabs the back of his leather jacket, stopping him. She can see his broad shoulders heaving as he tries to catch his breath. Panic radiates off Bucky in waves.
"Джеймс, what's rule number two?"
Bucky sighs, hanging his head. He looks at Yelena, Kate, and Peter. Kate has Peter's hands, cleaning blood off them from when he removed his gloves in the alley. Peter hasn't looked up at anyone since they entered.
"Don't hurt anyone."
Bucky walks into the elevator, turning to meet her eyes. They share a silent nod as the doors close.

Mara kicks the icy slush from her boots as she steps into the warm restaurant. It's a little nicer than what she was expecting, but thankfully the black pants and cream sweater she chose doesn't seem to stand out too badly.
Mara was surprised when Alexander called asking her to dinner and despite lots of groaning and head shaking from Kate and Yelena, an hour and a half later here she was.
Alexander and Mara were always a good match, both intelligent and passionate about their work. Everyone fawned over them at parties while the two were in college, but there was a spark missing that Mara craved. When she would try and imagine a future with Alexander, she never could. They didn't even sleep together. It was a friendship that tried to grow into something more, but never did.
The lighting in the restaurant is dim, the small candles on the tables and the lights coming through the large windows surrounding the dining area giving off a comforting glow. It reminds her of the first time she met Sam and Peter, which causes a pain in her chest to think of Bucky. She shakes it off as she approaches the table.
Mara has no problem finding Alexander, his height and demeanor are noticeable in any room. It was one of the first things that she liked about him. He's dressed casually, jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. Mara leans in for a hug as she approaches, immediately enveloped in his large frame. It feels weird, not comforting like she remembers.
