"...Hi." You crack a small smile as you scratch your head, not knowing if you should give her a hug or not.

Idette wasn't a hugger as far as you remember. She doesn't mind receiving one though—but you had a lot of theories regarding why she doesn't hug you but ever since you stopped hanging out with her for a while, you stopped doing your usual greeting.

You started getting used to it as it only felt like the two of you were growing up hence not needing silly embraces—though everyone else seemed to enjoy your gesture in present-day and maybe you were just overthinking over a stupid idea again.

"My Archons, is that really you?" She hurries to you while fixing her hair, her clothes still messy.

You tilt your head a little, taking in your friend's appearance.

She wears a white collared blouse adorned with a dark blue ribbon matched with a black corset uninserted into her dark blue shorts, separated sleeves, black lace stockings, and short black boots.

Not much has changed other than her accessories, a black bow tied to a half ponytail and earrings similar to Jean's.

Idette can be seen with a soft smile on her face, making sure that her feelings were correctly conveyed.

"I've heard from the streets that you were present but I didn't believe them until now." She holds your wrists and gently pulls you towards the Gunnhildr's home. "Did you... flee? Oh, forgive me. I know you aren't dumb enough to show yourself in the city if that were the case so I'm sure you didn't."

The place looked like Diluc's manor except it was bigger due to more than one person living in it.

The manor was silent because of the absence of the eldest daughter of the Gunnhildr clan.

Jean and Idette's mothers were also away for a few days to who knows where—and failed marriages seemed to be an issue in the noble's blood which explains why Idette only had her mother.

Your friend looked like she forgot something important the minute she opened the manor's doors and someone who was patiently waiting inside appeared with a hopeful smile.

"Idette, you're back! Oh, and big sis [Name] is here too!" The young elf-like child cries in joy, jumping up and down with her hands in the air.

"Klee—" You didn't have any time to properly greet her when she suddenly leaps into your arms.

The last time you saw the little troublemaker was a few weeks ago so this was another surprising encounter.

Idette laughs. "She has missed you tremendously, [Name]."

"How was your trip to Liyue? Are you going to stay with Klee now?" She hugs you tight, leaving little air for you to breathe in.

"I'm sorry, but I won't be staying for long. I got you a souvenir though, it's currently back at home."

What you prepared for her was no ordinary gift—but it was perfect for an unordinary little girl. You were positive that she was going to like it but you only wished you had brought it with you today.

"What is Klee doing here anyway? Did she blow up solitary confinement by any chance?" You ask as a joke but Idette crosses her arms with a worried smile appearing on her face.

"Well, kind of? This morning, she snuck in one of her bombs and accidentally set it off while making adjustments to it. The room is still under maintenance and the chief alchemist and other knights are busy as of now which leaves her to me. It's fine though, she's done nothing but be obedient the whole day."
