Hey! Thanks for reading this. I appreciate it so much💓
Lia was petrified seeing the crowd and the traffic.
"This day couldn't get any worse. Jesus! What do I do now?! I think I should step out of the car and get a quick look at the road and see how long it will take for the road to clear up",Lia murmured as she banged her fist on the steering wheel in frustration. She then took a quick glance at the rear view mirror and as always, her hair was all over the place. She quickly tucked those loose strands of hair that were coming out of her ponytail behind her ears. After fixing her hair, she opened the seat belt, took a deep breath and opened the door in haste. The door made a click sound as she pushed it open and stepped out. Her throat felt even drier and this time, it was because of the sunny weather. The sun was shining right above her head. Lia put her palms a few inches away from her face to stop the scorching rays from hitting her directly in the face. She was sweating even more now. There were a TON of cars honking at each other and the drivers fighting with each other, creating what we might call, MAYHEM
Lia wanted to cry and punch everyone in the face but she knew she couldn't. She took a few steps from her car to see which car had originally started the whole traffic. There was almost little to no space left for walking but she somehow managed to go near the car that started this whole situation.
Amongst all the cars, the car that started the traffic stood out the most. It was a Black Mercedes, shining like it was brand new. Lia could see the number plate now but she wanted to get a closer look to see who was sitting inside."Oh, so this is the car that started this drama! Why can't these people just follow the traffic rules?! I need to see who's in it". She took a few more steps and finally got near the passenger's seat. The window of the car was not very transparent and had a black mesh wrapped on it. It looked very fancy and rich, polished like it was brand new. Straight outta some fancy, rich showroom of cars.
Lia couldn't really see who was inside except for a silhouette of what it appeared to her, a man with something in his hands, probably a magazine. She leaned in and squinted her eyes for a closer look and now she could see a bit better. It was a guy, he wore a black and white suit with a magazine in his hands, tapping his foot to the rhythm of the music. He had a pair of black rimmed sunglasses on. He looked very unbothered with the traffic.
Seeing how relaxed the man inside the car was considering that his car started the traffic, pissed the hell out of Lia. She aggressively knocked on the glass window.
(Knocks)
"Hello? Whoever you are please get out of the car right now!" Lia shouted while knocking on the window with her knuckles aggressively. The guy in the car said something to the driver and slid down the window glass just a few inches down. He looked out of the window and saw Lia standing there. He widened his eyes at Lia,"Umm yes?", the man said with an intimidating look on his face.
Lia couldn't control herself, "WHAT? What do you mean by that huh?!", she was annoyed.
The cars that were busy honking at each other were now staring at the car and Lia.
The man in the car smirked and glanced at Lia, her face had turned red with rage. When Lia saw him giggling, she got even more pissed and started blabbering,
"What's so funny huh? What's so funny? First you start this mess and now you're laughing?! Do you even have some brains in there dammit! Because of you, I'm late to my first day of work. Thanks, you asshole", Lia cursed.Hearing this, the driver immediately got out of his seat in defence and ran towards Lia.
, "Watch your mouth young lady! Do you even know who he is?! Don't you dare come closer".Lia couldn't bear the audacity anymore, "Oh so you're what? His lawyer? FUCK YOU I WANNA TALK TO THAT ASSHOLE. MOVE ASIDE!". Lia spun the driver aside and took a few more steps towards the car but was cut off by the man in the car. He opened the passenger seat's door, giving an intimidating look to Lia, he stepped out.
Black shoes that were shining in the sun, his black suit and watch looked brand new. A 6'0 guy, dressed in the most professional manner, with the sharpest facial features, wearing sunglasses now stood in front of her.
